Another good thing about the game is you can roll the pigs anywhere. Unlike the older version (Pass The Pigs), sitting around a table and rolling the mini piggies had become too old-fashioned. Players score points on their turn by rolling 2 pigs and having them land in certain positions. Once the score is noted, the player can choose to go again or keep their score. If they choose to stop, they keep their score to that point and play continues to the next player. Each turn involves one player throwing two model pigs, each of which has a dot on one side. The player gains or loses points, or is eliminated from the game based on the way the pigs land. Each turn lasts until the player throwing either rolls the pigs in a way that wipes out their current turn score, wipes out their total game score, or decides to stop their turn, add their turn score to their total score and pass the pigs to the next player. The winner is the first player to reach a predetermined total score, usually 100 points.

Whilst you can play this game inside, it really needs some room! So we went out to play. And had such a lot of fun playing with the supersize pigs. This section is going to be very short because playing Pass the Pigs: Big Pigs doesn’t require much explanation.

Will you roll a sider or start makin’ bacon? On the road, by the beach, in the park, or just chilling out – the game is on for every pig in the parlour! As aforementioned, the game is highly straightforward and requires no detailed explanation. Throughout the game, all you will do is toss the miniature and poor little piggies and score points on the basis of the positions the pigs land on the board.
