Make sure to burn it for long enough before putting it out, though, as from my experience, it did not self-correct easily when I only burned it for a couple of hours.

The scents are more minimalist, subtle, and really grown-up compared to brands like Pacific Wax Co and Scentsationals – it’s really a pure object of home decor you’re getting with these Asda candles. It’s actually mind-blowing to find such a cheap, large candle that follows the Yankee Candle design and has a medium-to-large throw as well. Rather, I’ve focused on two brands I didn’t really know about: Scentsationals and Pacific Wax Co. I found that the Pacific Wax Co Espresso Martini candle, which is still available to buy in store and online, had a very good throw considering its price point. It already smells amazing when cold, and when you start burning it, the candle only takes a couple of minutes to fill the room with a delicious coffee scent. Not only that, but I have also shopped for a few candles and wax melts during this visit, which means that an Asda candle haul is coming very soon – and I am really, really excited about all the scented goodness I’ve come across this time.

All in all, Pacific Wax Co Espresso Martini was a great way to discover the quite new Asda candle brand. These are also part of the core range, and a few scents are added here and there according to the season.
