About this deal

This means that at half volume in Windows, it's not as loud as other headsets - and we're not quite sure why. Thanks to their wireless USB dongle, they have low latency to keep your audio and visuals in sync while you're gaming. Even if its design is a little unorthodox, the fact remains that this is a super-comfortable headset that you can wear for long periods with it excellent 35 hours of battery life. Logitech’s headsets have always been a little left-field in terms of looks, be it the aircraft headset-inspired looks of the G Pro X Wireless, to the ski-band headband of this Logitech G535 Lightspeed.

The Logitech G535 Lightspeed is an intriguing gaming headset, featuring one of the most left-field designs of any model I’ve ever tested. Away from the colour, the comfort the strap provided was unmatched, and with the strap playing a big part in the headset weighing just 236g, it barely feels like you have anything on your head at times. The biggest areas of deviation are a roll-off of the sub-bass under 60Hz, and a slight lack of emphasis in the mids around 400Hz. The mid-range gaming headset market is reasonably saturated, with the likes of Razer, Corsair Turtle Beach, SteelSeries and EPOS all vying for your hard-earned cash. The Logitech G535 has a frequency response chart that follows our target curve fairly closely above 700Hz.It doesn’t bother with fripperies like looking glamorous, or even features that you might happily pay for without actually using. However, since they're not for physical activity, even small head shakes can make the headphones move around your head.

Weighing in at just 236 grams, the G535 are easily up there with the lightest wireless gaming headsets I’ve ever reviewed. SCS is a chartered benefit corporation, reflecting its commitment to socially and environmentally responsible business practices. The Logitech G535 Lightspeed is compatible with PC and PlayStation 4 and 5, using a USB wireless receiver to bridge between headset and device.

The suspension band helps to protect your head from the plastic frame and can be adjusted for different head sizes. The headset’s frame is made entirely of painted plastic, and I wouldn’t count on it withstanding too many drops. Logitech offers up half a dozen presets covering movies, bass boost, and game genres like FPS and MOBA. The G535 is far from the flashiest of headsets, with the entire body made of an all-black plastic material.

Switching over to Forza Horizon 5, it's a similar experience of engine sounds, radio station music, and narration, all firing and sounding great. While you can still receive audio while charging, they don't have an AUX port, so you can't use them passively. As the product name suggests, the Logitech G535 Lightspeed Wireless Gaming Headset is a new wireless gaming headset from Logitech that uses its impressive low-latency Lightspeed Wireless tech to deliver up to 12 metres of lag-free coverage. You can only use them with their wireless USB dongle, so if you want to use them with your smartphone, you'll need an adapter. If you have thick hair or glasses, you may notice a small drop in bass as these features can break the ear cups' seal.
