This part of the perfume was not too bad - I generally like florals so this was fairly agreeable to me. I see this on a brunette wearing deep red nails that match her lips and pumps, Anastasia Steele after she's been corrupted. I don't have anything else like it in my collection and I can for sure pick up on the raspberry in this but it's not an overly fruity scent. This is easily likable, especially if you're not the one particularly into perfumes and don't like to spend too much time thinking what to wear.

I came back to this one on three separate excursions and it is now my go to end of summer/I am ready for fall scent. For anyone looking for a young, fruity-floral Fall/Winter scent that won't offend anyone around you, this is a good pick. Perhaps for others it's not like this, but I will say, you couldn't PAY ME to wear this perfume for even one day! Linear, so don't expect an overwhelming burst of fruits or anything else in the notes, to grab your attention. Like DKNY claims, the patchouli is there, but for those who are afraid of wearing anything too "strong", this is a fairly tame patchouli - you can wear it to the office without any issue.When I first got this, my nose only identified the top notes and I fell in love with the sweet burst of rasberry, pink pepper, and the patchouli peeking out when sprayed.

The perfume itself was a lot milder than I thought it would be - but then again with mainstream perfumes, this is probably to be expected. It's raspberry hard candy and vanilla extract with a patchouli that's well blended enough that I don't really notice it as an individual scent. luckily i don't smell too much of this after a minute and then i get super strong galbanum (which makes it difficult to inhale, but i still like it because it's bracing) and some rosy pink pepper, which makes the smell more nose-friendly. It is super strong when you first spray it thankfully gets a little lighter in smell as time goes on. Since its inception in 1989, DKNY has been synonymous with New York, inspired by the energy and attitude of the city.

After the fairly sharp initial scent, it calms down to an almost earthy warmth, with a bit of sweetness. I normally do not like woody because they tend to turn to baby powder on my skin but this particular scent just has a whisper of masculine woodiness with the right amount of sweetness from the vanilla and jasmine to make it so pretty.
