Didcot Phoenix success in CyclocrossPaul Lloyd finished 2nd in the senior riders section of the Wessex Cyclocross league. Lloyd gained 449 points from his best rides in the series.
Will Jones gained 30th place with only 7 rides and Dave Lloyd was 1st in the over 60 vets category. Didcot Phoenix also gained 8th place in the team event. |

All club members wishing to compete for any of the club trophies should be reminded that membership must be renewed in order to be eligible for points. Points will only be awaraded once mebership has been renewed, points will not be awarded retrospectively. The membership fees for junior and juvenile riders have now increased to £5, all other membership fees remain unchanged In 2007 as with previous years, there has been a steady improvement in the performance of the club members, 2008 will not be an exception! Tom Robbins won top spot in the youth section of the Wessex league with a commendable 78 points out of 80.
Didcot Phoenix took the Interclub Roller Competition trophy from last years winners Oxonian CC. In a close won battle Phoenix pipped Oxonian by just 1.16 seconds.
