We read one country per night (there are 13 in the book), find it on the globe, and look up photos and videos to go with it on the internet. The book gives plenty of information about each country such as the environment, weather, animals, and even includes some words from the language spoken there.Some students do not have the opportunity to experience different cultures because of various readers. The book is clearly for students whose first language is English but because major countries are touched on (including America) this book could work in any language. I loved this book and learning more about the countries and thought it was such a cute idea to have the reader follow along with a kid to learn about the countries.
