I don't want to discourage anyone from reading it by rating it on the lower side since this isn't a bad book. The characters were 2 dimensional with no depth, no real motivation, people took very important decisions out of nowhere.

I won't say any more than that, but this one was incredibly hard to put down after I picked it up and was incredibly fast-paced from the first sentence on! However, on the death of his first wife, Patrick is adamant that it was an accident, insisting that it was all part of the lie made up by Erica to get at their money.
