About this deal

If you have your heart set on visiting during a certain time of year (or if you still need help figuring out when is best for you to go), our friends at Destinations to Travel are here to help! Spring break is one of the busiest times of the year, and the tricky part is that the timing varies by school districts all over the country (ranging from elementary schools to universities). Make the most of April at Walt Disney World by taking breaks when it gets too hot, and aiming for early weekdays to stay out of the crowds. This festival combines loads of holiday traditions and foods, along with the Candlelight Processional.

Well, at Disney World, the spooky season gets into full swing in mid-August as Mickey pumpkin lantern wreaths adorn the lampposts in Magic Kingdom and Mickey's-Not-So-Scary Halloween Party begins. Blossoming shortly thereafter is EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival, generally kicking off in early March and running through July. celebrated its 25th anniversary at Walt Disney World, just a day before the 100th anniversary of the Walt Disney Company.

February 26 - Magic Happens resumed at Disneyland, as part of the Disney 100 Years of Wonder celebration.

If you'd prefer Festival of the Arts, we recommend the first half of February, just before the holiday weekend; the averages in February are a bit cooler, with expected highs of 75 and lows of 54. March 4 - The second season of The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder made its televised premiere on the Disney Channel.

Fall in Orlando can still be pretty warm, and August and September make up the tail end of Orlando's rainy season. With our discounted Walt Disney World theme park tickets guests can choose from the following parks!

January 6 - Monsters at Work made its televised premiere on the Disney Channel to promote the second season of the series. We’ve designed our crowd calendar to show you just how crowded Disney’s theme parks will be each day of the calendar year. Slide to see what each number on the Crowd Calendar means for your wait time on different attractions. Much of the summer has gone from extremely busy to moderately busy (even the 4th of July isn’t as busy as it used to be) and certain times in September have become much more crowded. And if you’re traveling with kids, be sure to check out our Flower and Garden Festival with Kids post for extra fun things this month!By using data compiled from recent years, Disney crowd calendars help us determine which theme parks will have the shortest and longest lines, to discover the best times to visit the parks for fewer crowds and beautiful weather. July 14 - Disney's Hollywood Hotel reopened in Hong Kong Disneyland Resort after a three-year hiatus. Individual days have their own individual quirks; you might have shorter than expected waits on a “most crowded” day or longer than expected waits on a “least crowded” day.
