Final chance for club 25 champs entry!
another friendly (final) reminder to get your entry sent off for the club championship 25m event out on the A420 piggybacking the Oxonian open event.
Here’s the link to the entry details

If you’re like me and haven’t got around to posting off your entry, pop a cheque for £8 and fill in the entry form available for Open events on the CTT website.
I think the general consensus last night at the BO was that I the entry arrives before Tuesday you should be ok.
See you at Fairmile on Thursday.
Ben Owen post to come tonight. Well done to riders(even those who didn’t make it past the roundabout), and massive thanks to all those who helped!

Folks,
I posted this on Dunko’s original reminder Home Page News item a couple of weeks back, but that’s scrolled well off the bottom of the screen, so may not have been noticed, hence it’s worth a re-post here…
Be aware that the Oxonian event is on the H25/17S course (the “S” is important!), which is different to the H25/17 that DPCC have used in the past.
Start is on the A415 just short of the roundabout with the A420 at Kingston Bagpuize. The (first) turn is at the Watchfield roundabout – i.e. two on from the Stanford roundabout on the course we have raced in the past.
Finally, you do a second U-turn at the A420/A417 (Kingston Bagpuize) roundabout to finish at the same layby that marks the finish of H10/17R.

As pointed out by Iain Kent, my course summary contains an error…
The final sentence should read “A420/A415 (Kingston Bagpuize) roundabout”…
(the A417 is – of course – the Stanford roundabout!)

I’ve just seen the start sheet – half the club is riding. Great stuff! Except me …

Was that Ron’s first win? Well done!
