It could be said that the design and aesthetic of The Core caters to a very specific demographic and let’s just say that we aren’t a part of it. Subjectively speaking, the X-Max Qomo is the better looking device. Press the button once while turned on to initiate heating. While heating, the light will cycle in intensity. When heating is complete, it will remain a solid color. Heating is quite fast, taking only around 20 seconds to complete. Press the button twice to rotate between the three temperature settings to select your desired intensity. Not only does The Core’s 3000mAh battery go longer without recharging, the included travel case makes The Core easier to transport as well.
The QOMO works best with smaller loads. I recommend loading just enough material for one session to avoid overloading the device.
Pour a little alcohol into the bubbler and shake it to clean it out. Rinse with water a few times to get all the alcohol out. Because of the small size and integrated dab tool, beginners and medicinal users will appreciate the simplicity. Best for Smaller Dabs

Let everything air dry, then reassemble and test the device. If it’s still not working, replace your atomizer and test the unit again. If that fixes everything up, the first coil is likely faulty and can be properly disposed of. With a charge time of 1-2 hours, charging isn’t too inconvenient either, especially given you can charge the device via USB-C, making it quite easy to carry a single charger with you, provided your phone also supports this popular standard. Is the XMAX QOMO Easy to Clean? The power light will pulse a few times during pre-heat, then will change to a solid color to signal that it’s ready to use. Take a draw using a slow, sipping style technique for the best results. Bubbler isn’t the best - The included bubbler is a little on the thin side, and the conical design doesn’t offer the best percolation. It gets the job done, but we’d love to see more glass options down the line. Alcohol on a paper towel is perfect for wiping down the coil and carb cap, and you can place a drop or two of alcohol on a Q-tip to clean out the vapor path in the device.
