About this deal
The Trojan Pro Desktop Clamps have rubber plates that will provide essential grip qualities to the monitors themselves while also acting as isolation pads to reduce any unwanted vibrations travelling into the desktop or colouration to the sound you are hearing. It isn't loud, but it brings this hiss to listening through monitors that my headphones would have blocked.
inch Accelerated Ribbon TweeterNew polypropylene 5 inch woofer and rear-firing bass-reflex port2 x Class D amplifiers (70 W RMS) per speakerFrequency Response: 45 Hz - 25.For the rest it seems all the same: The Bass is clear and tight with more sub bass extension and power but also fatiguing clarity, which gets annoying for casual listening but provides very informative feedback during mixing I can imagine. It is designed to provide realistic and affordable acoustic absorption and reverberation control within most types of rooms and spaces.
The U-ART tweeter as used in the T Series is fitted to a precision waveguide with the same dispersion-control attributes as the HPS waveguide used in ADAM Audio’s flagship S Series studio monitors. The Trojan Pro Desktop Clamp Monitor Stands are a practical solution compared to using large, heavy floor monitor stands that take up valuable floor space in your studio. I can definitely hear more detail in the mids and make slightly better decisions but not to the degree I was hoping for, I also noticed that the build quality of these monitors feel very cheap, IMO - the build quality of the BX5s feels much more "expensive" so to speak. The T7V Studio Monitor features two 3-way fine-tune switches that allow you to boost or cut high/low frequencies, enabling you to tailor the monitor to the room and position it's in. On the rear side of the T7V’s bevelled cabinet, a rear-firing bass reflex port joins a sturdy metal backplate that’s home to the analog input connections.
Not only do Adam's products meet the exacting technical and acoustic requirements of modern studios, they are also designed for reliability and longevity.
You might not hear the bass all that well through headphones and you will certainly not feel it but the sound is much more accurate through headphones (if you have good ones). With slightly larger rooms or bass-heavy music, the T7v is compatible with ADAM's T10S, Sub7 and Sub8 subwoofers, available separately. The fact that so much music is now listened to on headphones also means that you need to double check that everything sounds correct on ‘phones. The Adam T7V boasts excellent acoustic characteristics, small dimensions and an outstanding cost/performance ratio making this monitor the perfectly suited small room monitor for music, video and broadcast production.
