About this deal

Again, a little goes a long way, but this one is super concentrated — almost like those concentrated foundation drops meant to be mixed with another medium like your moisturizer. It’s a bit difficult to see in the image above, but the formula comes in a bottle with a dropper, similar to The Ordinary serums. One other interesting note is that The Ordinary states that due to the pigment suspension system used in these products, shades tend to look quite natural on the skin. There’s no cap, but the pump does twist to lock, so you have some security that it won’t splurge all over the inside of your make-up bag.

The Ordinary Coverage Foundation is available in 21 flexible shades, covering a range from very fair to very deep and classified according to undertone, divided between pink, red, neutral and yellow. Please note, we cannot offer refunds on beauty, pierced jewellery or on swimwear if the hygiene seal is not in place or has been broken. We love a lightweight, natural-looking and buildable formula, so the serum offering remains our favourite of the two. The Ordinary recommends use only if you are an experienced user of acid exfoliation and your skin is not sensitive. Even when I am careful and try to remove the primer from the outside of the dropper, inevitably, it ends up dripping off the sides onto the bottle or my fingers.Aqua (Water), Coconut Alkanes, Dimethicone, Isodecyl Neopentanoate, Caprylyl Methicone, Methyl Methacrylate Crosspolymer, Glycerin, Trimethylsiloxysilicate, PEG-9 Polydimethylsiloxyethyl Dimethicone, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Dimethicone/PEG-10/15 Crosspolymer, Coco Caprylate/Caprate, Cetyl Diglyceryl Tris(Trimethylsiloxy)silylethyl Dimethicone, Sucrose Laurate, Dipropylene Glycol, Polysilicone-11, Tocopherol, Polyglyceryl-3 Diisostearate, Polyglyceryl-3 Polyricinoleate, Disteardimonium Hectorite, Hectorite, Dimethicone/ Bis-Isobutyl PPG-20 Crosspolymer, Dimethyl Isosorbide, Sodium Chloride, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Phenoxyethanol, Chlorphenesin. And, when it made its first foray into make-up a year later with two foundations, the waitlist topped more than 75,000 people, with the brand struggling to keep up with demand. These foundations are formulated with pigments that are suspended in The Ordinary’s proprietary spreadability system. You know, the one from The Ordinary — that science-flexing skincare brand that manages to offer downright cheap efficacious skin care with no filler or extraneous fluff that the Internet has been flipping out over? Both foundations have a semi-matte finish and are formulated to work well with primer, especially The Ordinary primers.
