It's incredibly well made, with a full steel frame that's powder-coated to both look good and offer some durability. If you really want to take your experience to the next level, you have to be comfortable, and you can be in Playseat's ultimate Forza-fan chair, the Evolution. This is just a Playseat Evolution, and there are many designs, including other racing games and even Red Bull, but if you're a Forza fan it doesn't get any better than this. Up close and personal, the Forza model really stands out with its branding and finish though the others are equally impressive if you prefer the plain / non branded seats.

There’s nothing much more to say other than it does exactly what it should and it is a must for anyone with a separate shift stick.

It's perfect for longer gaming sessions, particularly those long races on Forza, keeping you upright and comfortable the whole time. Younger racers will be right at home in this chair from X Rocker, not only because it's designed perfectly for kids, but because it has built-in speakers. The driving position is a little lower, which some may find tough to adjust to, but it's comfortable and supports just about any current racing wheel.

Once you are seated, you really do get the sensation of being in a real race car from your race height, position, leg angling and arm positioning. We did try place some foam between the points of contact but we found its just too impractical and eventually gets lost after one too many adjustments. The dimensions of the chair are 130 x 50 x 98 cm / 51 x 20 x 39 inches and whilst it can fold away, you do need a bit of storage space if you are not going to leave it set up. One minor but frustrating point is that at each of the three points the adjustable knobs make contact with the frame, it will leave a nasty mark against the paintwork. This PlaySeat review will therefore treat the three models as one in addition to the few different limited edition types based on the Evolution / Alcantara seats such as the Forza style seat.As for the chassis, once you assemble the two side plates to create the chassis, the frame parts slot in together and tighten with hand screws at 3 points, the base just underneath the chair, the footplates and at the steering wheel column.
