I liked the layout and illustrations in this book and I think many young readers will enjoy this installment of the Dork Diaries series. Brianna is afraid of the tooth fairy because Nikki told her the tooth fairy collects children's teeth to make dentures for old people. My one major complaint about this series is the fact that there are now 15 whole books and Brandon and Nikki are not officially together yet. Book 3 1/2 Dork Diaries: How To Dork Your Diary has been on the New York Times Best Sellers list for 14 weeks. When she signs up to run for chairperson of WCD's Halloween dance, she loses to MacKenzie Hollister and signs up for clean-up committee instead.

Book 15 was originally scheduled to be published on October 13, 2020, but was later delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I'll still read the new ones when they come out, just for the sake of it, but I don't necessarily enjoy them.While I wish it was better because I've been waiting for this for years, there is good in this book too. I only wish Nikki and Brandon would finally couple up, and MacKenzie would get over her silly hangups and treat Nikki with the grace that Nikki treats her with.
