About this deal

Miles is the bossy next-door neighbor who wants to buy it. Of course, he's not happy when she turns down his offer so he tries something different, he offers her a job to help her pay for the expensive repairs but also to help him with the advertising his company is in desperate need for. He hopes in time, she will see that he isn’t as bad as she thinks he is. This didn’t need to be as long as it is. I skimmed a lot of it and then at 90% I just skipped to the end. It was too syrupy, corny, cliche and angsty. snow spent 60% of the book on the enemies storyline but was not able in all of those words to create genuine chemistry between the lead characters. She wasted more time than any human with a life would put up with writing the I can/can’t, i will/won’t, I do/don’t. Nope, No, no thanks. I was over both of the leads and their unrealistic fear of love and all the side stories. For me it was exhausting and finally boring. I’m recommending it because I know a bunch of readers will just eat this up. Trying not to be a hater but really by the end of this I wanted to give it no stars. I love the cover! The male on the cover has been on a few covers from other authors I love and he does all the covers justice! Joe is such a nice guy and I love how his beautiful face is showing up everywhere. He makes a great muse for Lincoln. Lincoln Burns is the CEO of Haughty But Nice and is dubbed one of Seattle’s most eligible bachelors yet undateable and a cold hearted office grump. He has a past that haunts him and leaves him jaded on love and relationships.

If you are looking for a story with just the right amount humour, angst, frustration, disappointment, intrigue, happiness, love, smoking hot chemistry and one of THE best grovels then this is the book for you! Cole hires Eliza to work in the lab, and develop new coffee flavors, but they constantly head butt. While on a business trip to Hawaii, they begin to get closer, and Eliza understands more about the sadness surrounding Cole. She bonds with Destiny, Cole’s daug Miles Cromwell is a loaner. He is a big bad CEO for his family’s billion-dollar company Cromwell-Narada. But he spends as much time living in his paradise on Pinnacle Pointe. Miles loved his next-door neighbor Lottie Risa, she understood him, was his only friend, and now she’s gone. Lottie left him a note telling him that her Granddaughter Jennifer would probably want to sell the property and if he wanted to buy it….and he did, he should move fast. Gram also left Jenn a note telling her the history of the property and her hopes that Jenn would want to re-invigorate the bed and breakfast and live there. Such a crafty little old match-making lady! I have loved every book written by Nicole Snow, and this one did not fail. This author has the ability to write couples that are imperfect but perfect for each other. This book had so many emotions in it, like sadness, lust, love, and intrigue.

Inheriting a bad-tempered boss brings the sweetest insanity in this roaring funny and shamelessly steamy grumpy-sunshine romance from Wall Street Journal bestselling author Nicole Snow. Lincoln and Dakota are spending more and more time together. Now they are working together on a wedding proposal for the company. They both realize they can sell the idea of marriage better than some strangers - models who they may be higher. However, both have had heartache in the past and both are afraid to open their hearts towards each other.

Somewhere between 3.5 and 4 stars. This was pretty good. I really enjoyed the first 70%. The banter was wonderful, the steam was on point. I liked the characters, Eliza and Cole make a great couple and Destiny is adorable. It was instalust, and there is forbidden romance going on too since he becomes her boss. I also really loved learning more about coffee, it spoke to my addiction to caffeine beautifully. Now that I have finished reading, all my earlier thoughts were spot on! The tension between the characters as well as the building suspense of the plot(s) is magnificent! Not once did I lose interest at any time. You could say I was held captive in the very best ways! The antagonism this couple faces is both outward and from within. Miles lets the guard down on his heart, but not with his trust. Jenn is all in, open and honest, trusting and bursting with happiness and love. Eliza is a caffeine addicted dreamer who dreams of one day having her own little place of heaven, her very own coffee shop where she is the creator of special blends, living from short term job to short term job. She was enjoying a cup of coffee at her friend’s coffee shop the day that she meets Cole, but things become heated between them when he verbally assassinates Wayne and there is no way that she was going to stand idly by and let it continue. But Eliza and her own special blend make an impression and Cole decides that he will do what ever it takes to have her come work for her, and with the kind of money she can make helping him develop a new blend her dream looks to be closer than she could believe. But when more than just coffee is developing between who will get burned in the heat of the moment, or is this a perfect blend for life? Jenn is an independent media expert, but is burned out of working in an office. She inherits her grandma’s house, but the house is falling apart. She does not have the funds to repair it, but refuses to sell it, especially to Miles, her grandma’s next door neighbor. Miles and Jenn get off on the wrong foot, when they first meet, and their exchanges just make the situation much harder to bear. Full-length enemies-to-lovers romance loaded with uh-ohs. Office banter, pastry mischief, slow-burn spice, plus one bossy suit who might stop stomping around long enough to realize he's falling hopelessly in love. The FMC (can't even remember her name other than last name Poe) needs a change of pace and so she has an interview for a marketing position in an up and coming, though locally well-known company. Prior to going to her interview, she runs to a coffee shop to get a coffee and cinnamon roll and inadvertently gets the last one. Enter super hot guy with an ax to grind because there is no more of the pastries. Lo and behold, who shows up to her interview? Super hot guy, Lincoln. She ends up with the job and then a fake proposal comes into play to help launch a wedding line. Insert tropes of fiesty female lead with baggage and a male lead with a tortured soul who believes he's not good enough for girl. Eliza is a young single woman working short term jobs just to survive. She is addicted to brewing flavorful coffee, to hopefully somehow get the money to open her own coffee shop. I've read most of the books Ms. Snow has written and this is only the third book I've given a 1 or 2-star rating. I usually love her books. In fact, the last book I read by her, "No Fair Lady," I had this to say in my review: Stunning, incredible, breath-taking, masterpiece. How Jenn and Miles meet is a funny and somewhat embarrassing meet cute and the two of them have a insta-love hate moment. The attraction is there with the sparks are flying, but these two started off on the wrong foot, which only adds fuel to the fire as enemies. And when they start to work together, their enemy status slowly changes to something like friends to lovers. It’s only when a certain playing card enters, that makes Miles realize what he really wants and the caveman in him wants to mark his territory and claim her as his own. These two are hot and cold with one another and the games they play make things complicated and blur the lines and intentions. But once they give into that pull and their need for one another, the fireworks go off. There are steamy moments and smexy scenes that will get you all hot and bothered so have your fan ready. The word kitten definitely has a different meaning to me now after reading this book.
