About this deal

Eriez Magnetics Europe Ltd has given three young men from the local community mechanical and electrical apprenticeships. The fantastic opportunity will not only enable the new starters to gain a new set of skills and experience working life, but will also help develop a new generation at Eriez. Eriez Magnetics Europe Ltd has announced the expansion of their recycling department with the teams' newest addition of Sales & Service Engineer, Gareth Bray. The unit is designed to prevent ferrous items from damaging expensive equipment, such as grinders, mixers, and screw conveyors. The bullet magnet is mounted in the center of a casing of stainless steel.

From the 11th to 12th of July 2018, Eriez Europe will be exhibiting on stand Q1 at the Metals Recycling Event (MRE), at the NAEC in Stoneleigh, UK and discussing the importance of metals recycling in today's economic climate. Due to the growth of the recycling and waste management industry, Eriez are continually designing new technology to further improve the separation of metal that recycling companies can achieve. Eriez metal sorters can remove ferrous, non-ferrous or both from the waste stream to ensure the high metal separation standards are met. They not only reduce the amount of metal going to landfill but also purify materials being recycled. The Greenwood Permanent Magnetic Bullet Separator is a compact, efficient in-line magnetic separator for extracting ferrous metal contamination from either gravity fed or pneumatic pipelines. It is normally fitted into pneumatic process lines, often for food powders, and intake lines with high velocity where abrasive products (such as wheat) can present a problem. The magnets are positioned in such a way as to give good access, as they need to be cleaned regularly. Eriez Europe understands the importance of reliable separation for the recycling industry and offers an extensive range of recycling equipment, including Overband Magnets, Eddy Current Separators (ECS), Metal Separators and Magnetic Drums, for the recovery of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Eriez Magnetics Europe Ltd are exhibiting the latest technology in metal detection, removal and sampling equipment at Bauma. The recovery of valuable metals that have incorrectly been disposed of into the non-recyclable waste system, is a widespread problem throughout the Energy from Waste process. However, Eriez Magnetics Europe are able to provide the perfect solution. Metal contamination can have a critical effect on processing lines. Unwanted metals not only result in costly damage to machinery, loss of productivity and downtime but can also impact a company’s reputation on product quality. Metal Stamping America’s most complete line of permanent magnetic conveyors and conveyor components for the Metal Stamping Industry. Magnetic Pulleys – Used to automatically separate heavy tramp iron and fine iron contaminants from conveyor transported materials.

The permanent suspended overband magnet is a magnetic separator that is well-established within the Eriez portfolio. Eriez Europe attended the Recycling Technik 2015 exhibition in Dortmund, Germany on the 4th & 5th of November to further develop their recycling connections across the continent. Eriez’ attendance at multiple recycling exhibitions this year strengthens their worldwide presence and ongoing success in the recycling industry. As product flows past the powerful magnetic bullet (up to 12000 gauss), ferrous particles as small as 30 microns and tiny paramagnetic particles such as stainless steel scrapings are filtered out. These very fine ferrous and stainless steel particles are smaller than can be detected with a metal detector. Eriez Magnetics Europe have recently launched their new RevX-E eccentric Eddy Current Separator, their first Eddy Current Separator to have an eccentric magnetic rotor, allowing single point separation, providing unique separation solutions for the dynamically changing recycling industry compared to the standard design.Celebrating over 10 years exhibiting at RWM, Eriez Europe will be demonstrating their expertise and experience in metal separation solutions for the recycling and waste industries on Stand 5S10-T11.

Customer satisfaction is high on the agenda at Eriez Magnetics Europe Ltd and the drive to meet customer needs led Eriez Europe to ensure re-certification of ISO 9001:2008 standard for its quality management system. Eriez Eddy Current Separators can be used for the recovery of non-ferrous metals from car frag, to extract aluminium beverage cans from refuse, to purify small granulated plastic, to remove aluminium rings and bottle tops from crushed glass, to separate non-ferrous metals from incineration ash and for many more applications. Eriez Magnetics Europe Ltd, as part of its dedication to continually advancing and transforming the metals recycling industry, introduces the PokerSort into the European recycling market. Rare Earth: A higher intensity magnet suitable for capturing fine iron as well as larger tramp ferrous metal due to the exceptionally strong magnetic fields. Available with all line and fitting types. Placement in vertical run makes optimum use of the magnetic field and ensures maximum efficiency in separation.

Eriez Magnetics Europe Ltd are exhibiting the latest technology in metal removal, detection and sampling equipment at Bauma to be held in Munich, Germany between 15th–21st April 2013. Ceramic Ferrite: Ideal for the removal of larger tramp ferrous metal such as nuts, blots, screws, rust, etc. because of their deep magnetic field. Developments in magnet technology over the past decade have resulted in significantly stronger Magnetic Tubes providing levels of iron separation previously impossible.

A good example of an application of this technology is a large rare earth bullet magnet, for a 250mm diameter line, rated at a very powerful 15000 gauss, produced for an animal feed ingredient manufacturer. They produce meal powder for the pet food industry. A lot of the raw material (bones, etc.) is ground to produce the powder, and inevitably this creates ferrous metal fines (very small particles) in the product, which are caught by the bullet magnet. Since the separator has been installed the company have found very little carry over of metal fines further down the process, thus improving their product, and streamlining their production to make it more efficient. Take two proves succesful for Eriez Magnetics Europe team in Welsh 3-Peaks Challenge to raise money for childrens' hospice Ty Hafan. Eriez Magnetics Europe recently sold a Metalarm Metal Detector to MMD (Mining Machinery Developments). This is a lot of power! But the time interval is very brief. And it's certainly not prima facie unphysical—after all, the gunpowder explosion that launched the bullet involved the same energy transfer and an acceleration length of much less than a meter. Manufacturing industries are continuously looking for methods of refining their production process. Eriez Europe has recently supplied an E-Z Tec 9000 R Metal Detector with Pneumatic Reject System to be utilised by a customer that manufactures glass beads, used to increase durability and anti-skid and reflective properties in road markings.

Non-Woven Needles, pins, staples and other metals are stopped by a complete line of innovative metal detection and magnetic separation equipment. Stainless steel 304 and 316. Finishing: Well polishing and welding to meet food grade. The housing can be sandblasted
