About this deal

r/AusSkincare is a place for all Australian and New Zealand Reddit users (and anyone else, really!) to come and discuss all things skincare related. Try not to rub too hard when applying, as this may set off itching. Spray sunscreens are generally easier to apply and require less rubbing Patients who receive SunSense SPF50+ products on prescription are advised to consult their doctor for a suitable replacement. Currently, the following Uvistatsunscreens are available on prescription to anyone who suffers from light sensitivity (including all lupus patients):

As soon as possible after swimming, shower off using your usual emollient wash/oil/gel. Then apply more leave-on cream than usual. (If the pool showers use chlorinated pool water, it is best to go home and take a shower/bath immediately you get there.) Uvistat SPF 50 lipscreen contains Vitamin E and Tea Tree oil. The moisturising balm helps prevent lips from becoming dry and chapped. With the lips being the area of the body with the least layers of skin, then extra care should be taken all year round. If you are using a moisturiser that is greasy or oily, be careful not to overdo the application of the moisturiser as this can cause a ‘frying’ effect in the sun. Many people with eczema seem to find that mineral-based sunscreens are less irritating to their skin than chemical absorbers. For use when a very high protection sunscreen is desired by those with sensitive skin or sensitive skin conditions; or when a non-nano sunscreen is sought. Use at least 30ml per adult application. Apply to clean dry skin at least 20 minutes prior to sun exposure. Reapply every two hours and after swimming, exercise or toweling dry.

SunSense Sensitive Is it just me or can anyone not find the SunSense Sensitive

However, there are some pointers that families can follow to give them a better chance of finding the right one. This dual-purpose sun cream combines the anti-ageing benefits of alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) with broad spectrum protection to leave skin feeling fresh. I bought sun sense anti ageing factor 50 as I thought it would do the job of a moisturiser as well as a sun protector. I used it for 4 days, but my skin became very red, itchy and sore so I discontinued use. SunSense offers a tailored range of products to suit the whole family! From Ultra Sensitive and Kids roll-on options to keep your little ones smiling, to tinted face lotions and anti ageing formulas to give you that sun kissed glow all year round.Your SunSense products were recommended to me by Amyjayne Aesthetics last year. I was given some free samples to try, I was extremely pleased with the lightness of them, they're not heavy at all on the skin, they soak in beautifully I especially love the tinted cream. I would definitely recommend anyone to try these, I'm sure you'll love them as much as I do. As with eczema creams, finding the right sunscreen is a matter of trial and error - as what works with one child, won't work for another.
