I know it’s because of the transformation, but I absolutely cannot get over the idea of a robot that turns into a jet needing to have fake wings in robot mode. The Battle at Half Dome has Soundwave mentioning that he made a bet with Blitzwing to see which of them could reduce a human into at least one kilounit of water; considering this, it's possible that Blitzwing was a crew member of the Nemesis. After the defeat of the Autobots, Blitzwing praised Starscream as the obvious choice for Decepticon leadership, threatening to crush anyone crazy enough to suggest otherwise...or, at least, the imagined version in Starscream's dream did. The real Blitzwing was none too pleased about Starscream falling asleep in the middle of the Decepticons' staff meeting. Starscream's Fantasy Jet modes. The Legends toy wins this hands down. I mean…just look at them. No contest so I won't waste more words. NEXT.

They do tend to fall off. The only way they peg is with a small groove on the end corners as seen in the picture. And yes there are compromises but I do think it edges out his previous efforts. Though with the Thrilling 30 Blitzwing and his wank shoulders, horrible transformation, weak alt forms and general flimsy build, that isn’t hard. But this is just wonderful. He comes with a null-ray blaster which can replace his right hand. The exclusive version also comes with the Electron Spike Blade which can replace his left hand. The jet mode just does not look good from any angle. The original G1 toys was a Mig25 Foxbat, and this aint that, or even close. Here is another spot the designer should have said "WAIT..its getting out of hand..lets think of a way to do X" It looks like hes a duo-con with a tank under him. The plane is not impressive..it looks like a chibi egg plane.. When it became clear the Nemesis was going to crash into an exploding space bridge, Blitzwing fled in an escape pod. Transform and Roll Out Released by Killerbody, this non-converting super deformed Blitzwing features a shaking head, light-up eyes and shoulder articulation.The name's Lobo. That's L as in "Lacerate", O as in "Obliterate", B as in "disem- Bowel" and O as in, uh... Well, I guess I can use "Obliterate" twice, huh?" It still looks dumb, but furthers it from the idea that this is supposed to be a realistic jet. Its goofy, but kinda interesting in a strange way.
