About this deal

Here’s another great way to make your own fire starter. Start gathering dryer lint a few days, or weeks if you don’t do much laundry, before you leave for your camping trip. Just insert the dryer lint into an empty toilet paper or paper towel roll, and when you’re ready to build that campfire, just light the lint. Grab a box of dryer sheets before you head out to the camp. These are great for repelling pesky gnats and other insects.

This DIY soap pouch not only keeps your soap from getting lost, it makes showering while camping so easy. You will need a washcloth that you turn into a pouch, which holds your soap and doubles as a sort of bathing sponge. Once the soap is gone, you can just add another bar and use it again and again. Don’t let the branch go to waste when you’re done. What? It’s still a hard no on the awesome DIY tripod? Nevermind. 33. Summer SledgingI dreaded putting up my tent until I got a pop-up "instant" tent, which even my kids can put up on their own in just a few minutes. Traditional pole tents work by pushing poles through sleeves and fitting them together, which can be confusing and frustrating. However, instant tents have poles built in, so setup means staking the tent, unfolding each arm, and extending four poles. If all else fails, cotton wool covered in Vaseline makes for a great fire starter. Another easy way to make your own fire starters is to dip cotton pads in wax. MacGyver himself would be proud. Because outdoors is where the really good stuff happens. Getting together under the stars. Making the memories of a lifetime. Belonging.

Keep collections to yourself or inspire other shoppers! Keep in mind that anyone can view public collections - they may also appear in recommendations and other places. We commend that you do your research because there are quite a few RV based organizations you can join as a full timer. We suggest you limit yourself too just a few. Sign up with too many and you won’t be able to make the most of some, but you’ll still be paying hefty membership fees. Our mission is to make it easy to find and book the UK's best camping, glamping and touring holidays.Setting up camp but getting eaten alive by bugs? The solution is incredibly simple. Toss a little bit of sage into the campfire. The basics you'll need are a tent, sleeping bags, sleeping pads, lantern, and a camping stove. (I'm a lifelong Coleman fan because their camp equipment is solidly built and stands the test of time.) Most everything else, such as basic kitchen supplies, a cooler, flashlights, pillows, and portable chairs, you likely already have. Be prepared with your own DIY air conditioner. You can make this easy with a Styrofoam cooler and a few other key supplies, and it will keep you cool for a couple hours at a time. It’s a great idea for those nights when the humidity just won’t let you sleep.

Kettle - helps you to prepare for a day in the outdoors with a brew or sit around the campfire at night and relax. Focus on looking for parts that would be most important if you had problems o the road as well as parts that would be hard to find locally. You’re also looking for parts that are smaller and lightweight, because the idea is not to take valuable space or add excess weight. You know that taking whole eggs in a cooler when you go camping is just asking for trouble, right? I mean, there’s really no way that those eggs are going to stand up to all that rough country traveling. A shoe organizer makes the perfect organizer for your kitchen utensils. Just hang it on a tree or inside your tent, and you have slots for all of your spatulas, spoons, and other items.Solar stake lights cost just one dollar a piece and they will help you find your way around the camp. You can place a bunch of them close to the bathroom, near tent entry, by the tent pole… wherever you’d like more light. Depending on the time of the year, you may be able to find holiday-themed or patriotic solar stake lights. Struggling with everything you need to take camping? Are you a first-time camper or going to a festival this summer? You can find this tape at most stores that sell camping supplies, and it’s a great way to ensure that you don’t get turned around on your hike and lose your way. It’s also a great way to keep the woods all natural and safe from chemicals and litter. The easy-to-use Nanopresso produced one of the best coffee experiences I’ve ever had while camping. If you have more time on your hands, there’s another great way you can sharpen your knives. Grab a handful of sand. If you can’t find any, you can make some. Crush small stones into a pulp with a bigger one.
