About this deal

In Power Rangers, the first and probably the most iconic among fans was Finster from Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers, the series' first monster maker. Seems like a pleasant, clever guy at the start. Just 30 minutes into part 4 of 5, the ratio of good information to ranting turned the book around. I'm now waffling between 2 and 3 stars. It's actually made worse by listening to the author himself tell the stories, who gets all worked up about his past issues. This is what I will remember from the book -- not the good stuff. Once he started talking about "small-minded people" and "institutional stupidity", I wanted the book to end sooner. He's snarky and arrogant, but he's successful and wants to share the nuances of his success with us... In short, I disliked the energy of this book.

It's not just the minor errors that ring alarm bells – blues musician Alexis Korner becomes Alex Korner, late guitarist Brian Jones's girlfriend Anna Wohlin turns into Anna Wholin – but the selection of material. Andersen takes a line from Richards's Life seemingly to support his retelling of the old myth about Marianne Faithfull and the Mars Bar but ignores Richards's insistence that it never happened. The author also argues that the song Angie is about Bowie despite Richards's own account of how he, not Jagger, wrote most of it. But then Andersen concedes nothing to doubt. You wouldn't think the subject of Carly Simon's You're So Vain was one of pop's most famous mysteries from the way Andersen bluntly states (despite Simon's own denials) that it's Jagger.

The good news is that I really believe this won’t happen again. Sometimes you just know when you’re done. I felt that way after I took my last drink on my twentieth birthday, and thirty-five years later, have never had the desire for another one. And just as I felt my life worked better without alcohol in it, I now feel that recreational drug use doesn’t enrich my life but destroys it. So I chose life. Doofenshmirtz from Phineas and Ferb. A Ditzy Genius to be sure, but like the title characters, he's nevertheless smart enough to invent anything in only a few hours, even to the point of flagrantly defying the laws of physics. In The Elenium, by David Eddings, Krager is this to Annias and Martel. Annias himself is this to Azash. Or how about the meeting where they had the brilliant concept to shape the can like a keg? And how many beer drinkers do you think were lying awake

Some of the readers who buy those books must wonder what they’re doing wrong. In the real world of business, though, there are both breathtaking breakthroughs and soul-wrenching failures. It’s a world with fears and doubts, sweating to make payroll, scrambling to raise money, struggling to stand out. I’m here to tell you that getting on top and staying on top is never a sure thing. But if you’re willing to do the work and pay the price—success is attainable. It’s never easy, but it’s worth it. Citation: Dietrich A (2014) The mythconception of the mad genius. Front. Psychol. 5:79. doi: 10.3389/fpsyg.2014.00079 As entrepreneurs, we’re hardwired to shake things up, live by our own set of rules, and, most importantly, create new things. Our greatest genius comes in the creation part. One Piece makes occasional mention of the World Government's top scientist, Dr. Vegapunk. He is one of the most speculated-upon characters in the manga. Apparently, he's an Omnidisciplinary Scientist, having created a cyborg with Devil fruit powers (Kuma), multiple copies of said cyborg armed with laser weaponry (the Pacifista), catalogued all known devil fruits, revolutionized the power of the sea as uses of Seastone, and figured out a way for inanimate objects to "eat" Devil fruits. For all this, events around the Time Skip have alluded to Vegapunk being morally ambiguous, and truly any statement of him being "evil" before then was an assumption. During the Time Skip, Franky, having burned off all of his skin, rebuilds his body using Vegapunk's technology. Uno of Lyrical Nanoha, who is known as the second brain of Jail Scaglietti and acts as Mission Control for the Numbers. Jail himself easily qualifies as Big Bad variation.

Brian in Season 5, on account of being an OMN Administrator, though he's not really evil and he's only an antagonist because he's associated with Trent Donnovich. Wonder Woman (2017): Dr. Isabel Maru/Dr. Poison is a scientist who engineers biological weapons on behalf of General Erich Ludendorff. Seven Star Fighting God Guyferd: Shion and Minoh are Crown's top researchers in the fields of Fallah and cybernetics respectively, which makes them the ones responsible for creating the monsters and mooks that fill Crown's ranks. Later on we're introduced to Kuzan, Crown's head scientist regarding their Doomsday Device, as well as a Mad Scientist who joined them simply to prove his research correct, even at the expense of human civilization. Several members of the Forsaken in The Wheel of Time, including Ishamael (specializes in philosophy, theology, and metaphysics), Graendal (specializes in personal manipulation) and Demandred (specializes in millitary strategy).Mystery Men's Casanova Frankenstein is an evil Disco genius. Even his archnemesis asks him for help with his quips. He wears a set of golden finger cuffs that carry sonic rays and hyper-lasers, and a pair of slippers that emit poison gas. And that's just what his enemy knows he's wearing while he just sits around in his dressing gown. The main character of Please Don't Tell My Parents I'm a Supervillain is a Mad Scientist with a keen tactical mind and also a Villain Protagonist. In the remnants of the National Wrestling Alliance, "The Mastermind" Dave DuPont is an expy of Heenan, shifting between wrestler and manager.
