About this deal

Also, here’s another piece of advice, always have the right mark on every ball in your bag before the round starts. This will help you in case you need to hit a provisional and don’t feel rushed or forget to draw your ball marking. Always plan ahead with your golf balls to shoot lower scores (and get less flustered)! Line-M-Up Pro Precision Golf Ball Alignment Remember, a ball marking usually don’t cure a major problem so always work on the fundamentals. How else can I improve my alignment? You could have the perfect stroke, perfect read, and the right mental attitude but if you’re not aimed properly, you’re probably going to miss it more often than not. Or, you might correct your stroke to compensate for bad alignment. Either way, not a great habit to get into. To the question of sharpies... If you take a pair of needle nose pliers and pull the sharpie tip out 1/8/ inch, it works perfectly in the machine.. no more rip off pens... enjoy

PuttOut Mirror System: Another helpful putting training aid is using a mirror to notice your eyes over the ball. The PuttOut mirror does this and a lot more! It comes with a stand-alone 2-inch putting gate that will help you work on your path as well. Plus, you can stand the mirror up as well for a different angle of your putting stroke. Plus, it’s embarrassing and can make for a long round. It makes things even worse if the other player doesn’t realize and they hit the wrong ball, thus getting penalized right along with you. I just found I could make a ball float with a saturated solution of table salt (hot water and a lot of salt should make the ball surface, and the lighter end will be above the surface, while the heavier end will be deepest), finding the sweet-spot very fast! I added a very small amount of detergent to brake the surface tension of the water (new balls have more trouble rolling with the brand new dimples; put a finger in the mouth of the detergent bottle and rinse it in the solution and that's it). Snake-oil salesmen have long found golf to be fertile ground to hawk their wares. I can't think of another sport that has as many gadgets and gizmos that don't do squat. Thankfully, most are obviously junk upon first glance. However, there are some things that make you wonder if it's legit.I have found that marking my balls with a line gets me very focused on the line of the putt and not enough on tempo and pace. At the tee I put the blue dot up which, all things being equal (they never are, I know...) means my side spin based on ball variation is going to be minimized. Here are three reasons why you should have markings (of some sort) on your golf ball before teeing it up every single round. 1. Marking Your Ball For Identification Purposes On a perfectly level table top I could see the benifit in putting for a balanced ball. However, on a Green I doubt it makes a bunch of difference... especially Greens played by us non-touring Pro's.

I agree that modern ball manufacturing technology has made this gadget outdated. I still use the ball alignment marker to aim my tee shots.I forget where I read that Hogan would test all his golf balls to assure he didn't use any that were lopsided. He'd put enough salt in a glass of water to make a golf ball float, then spin a ball and allow it to come to a stop while floating. He'd then mark the spot poking out of the water and spin again. If the same spot came up, he knew it was a "bad" ball. Presumably, you could do the same thing, but just draw your line through the spot that "floated." Maybe... For the "good" balls, it wouldn't matter much where you drew the line... again.. maybe.

So yes, save your money, and from my own experience most premium balls are very well balanced anyway. First off, marking your golf ball with some sort of marking, logo, or stamps is something that every player should get in the habit of doing. While we’ll cover the benefits of marking your golf ball in this post, the biggest reason is so you can identify your golf ball. Did you know that there is a center of gravity in a golf ball? Well actually there is a center of gravity to almost everything, but rarely do we think about a golf balls COG. Most of the terminology we here today is about drivers. You here about COG’s and MOI’s a lot right now but it never refers to a golf ball. Well today I am going to let you in on a little secret on how to see if your golf balls and not your driver is responsible for those double bogeys. All Golf Balls Are Not Balanced ProperlyYou see, I don’t actually see myself in the golf business at all, I am in the business of caring. I am a guy who wakes up with one goal: do the right thing. I am in this whole new Zen golf thing and I like placing the ball so I only see white. I'm sure I'll revert to lines and technique soon enough...

Irreverent golf observations. A weblog not afraid to opine or offend about that ridiculous game called golf. If you have more questions, make sure to read the FAQs to find all the answers about the best golf ball alignment for your game. How do you mark a golf ball for putting? As I said, I find the ball comes to rest with my mark in the up position, reaffirming that the inertia of the ball is causing the heavy side to end up on the bottom as it comes to rest. The numbers tell you how many files have been saved to the SD card.If the display says 1 you have 1 video/photo on the card.If the display says 10 then you have 10 videos/photos on the card. The count will only go as high as 999 and stop there but if you continue shooting the pictures will continue to be saved.Another common marking is the T-line which helps with alignment and squaring the putter face. With this marking, you have the straight one and then add a second horizontal mark at one end of the golf ball.
