Angelina brings Polly to school for her Show and Tell with Ms. Chalk. But on her way into class, Angelina loses Polly and she begins to worry. However, Sammy Watts manages to find Polly for Angelina just in time for Show and Tell.

Miss Lilly (voiced by Judi Dench) is Angelina's ballet teacher. Miss Lilly is a kind and mother figure to the mouselings that attend her class. Although she has good intentions, can come across as quite negative at times as she scolds her class if they make mistakes. She grew up in Dacovia, which is a faraway land from Mouseland. She speaks English with a Russian accent. Please be aware that the delivery time frame may vary according to the area of delivery - the approximate delivery time is usually between 1-2 business days. Katharine Holabird is an American writer, best known as the author of the Angelina Ballerina series. On Christmas Eve, Angelina receives a hand-painted gift from Miss Lilly. However, Angelina is unhappy that the gift she made for Miss Lilly is "not good enough", but Miss Lilly is absolutely flattered by Angelina's hand-painted Christmas gift.Angelina wants Miss Lilly to be dedicated as Mouse of the Year. Miss Lilly gets so preoccupied with preparations for the award, that her dance class is in disarray. Miss Lilly turns down the award for her class' sake and Angelina feels upset about it.

English National Ballet took a live version of Angelina Ballerina called Angelina's Star Performance on tour in autumn 2007. Angelina is a pretty little mouse who wants nothing more than to be a ballerina. She dances all the time—at home, at school, even in her dreams! In fact, she’s so busy dancing that she forgets all about the other things she’s supposed to do, like cleaning her room and joining her family for breakfast! This story is and has been a treat for many children, who not only dream of becoming a ballerina but have a passion they would love to pursue. Revisiting this book as an adult was utterly lovely, and left me feeling bubbly-happy. The art was just as warm and charming as I remember, and I now know why I developed such an affection for The Sugarplum Fairy (Angelina’s dream sequence). I love this book just as much, if not more, than I did as a little girl. I actually didn’t remember the ending, and it was such a great surprise when I realized what it was! I think that’s an ending long-time lovers of this book can appreciate even more as an adult!Garden gnomes are being stolen in Mouseland. Inspired by Monty the Mouse Detective, Angelina becomes a detective. At first, she finds nothing, but she soon discovers that Mrs. Hodgepodge is secretly mending the stolen garden gnomes.

Theme: The overall theme of this book is to follow one’s passion and allow for personal creativity to become a part of a child’s life. Because, ultimately it can allow them to truly express themselves and their passions in life. It can also give them new motivation in their daily lives. Angelina is disappointed that she cannot join the adults at The Costume Ball. Mrs. Hodgepodge is babysitting her and Alice, as she is the only adult in Mouseland who is not going to The Costume Ball. Alice and Angelina decide to disguise themselves as an adult to attend the costume ball but while Angelina wants to dance, Alice just wants some food. Sadly they both get caught and Mrs. Hodgepodge brands them as “Naughty Little Runaways”. As punishment, they are made to clean up the Hall and eat cabbage jelly sandwiches the following morning. Angelina Mouseling (voiced by Finty Williams) is a helpful, feisty, quiet, and soft-voiced little white dancing mouse who loves to dance and always dreams of becoming a famous prima ballerina. Angelina has the tendency to come off as rather hot-headed, but she ultimately means well.

Fast forward two and a half years to Harriet being in preschool. She started taking a dance class that teaches both tap and ballet. She loves her dancing class and even participated in the recital. She'll be doing that again this year.

Mr. and Mrs. Mouseling leave Angelina in the care of her grandparents, but Angelina tears Miss Lilly's old tutu and Grandma is too busy planning her friend Mrs. Twinkle's birthday party to mend it. Angelina gets in trouble but the whole misunderstanding is soon cleared up. Angelina Mousling loves to dance so much she even dreams of dancing but when she starts to dance herself right into trouble, her parents decide that it's time to ballet lessons! Soon, Angelina is dancing her heart away in class instead of through her neighbors' pansies. Problem solved. Everyone is happy and Angelina lives on to become a famous ballerina! Personal Response: This book has both beautiful illustrations and a great story line. The illustrations are captivating and very well done. The story line and lesson is great too and it shows children that if they work hard enough at something they really want, they will get it. It also inspires them to follow their dreams and not give up.A second revival was announced in 2015, was to be co-produced by Mattel (who acquired HIT Entertainment in 2012) and 9 Story Media Group. A revival of Barney & Friends was announced at the same time. [3] However, no new information on either revival has been provided since the initial announcement. Book 44 Angelina Ballerina On the Go!
