It uses a star rating to grade HGVs from zero (lowest) to five (highest). HGV operators must apply for a permit for their vehicles before travelling through the area. A permit will be granted if the vehicle meets the minimum DVS star rating. For vehicles with a star rating of 1-2, your permit will be valid until 25th October 2024. After this date, 1 and 2 star rated vehicles will need to comply with the DVS Progressive Safe System and reapply for a permit. Proof of installation must be supplied to TFL with the application. MWM did a great job with the design of Phase, making the set-up very familiar for DJs who are used to setting up audio interfaces with DVS software.
