About this deal

The Okuma INC-6000 FD Reel is a perfect combination of classic design and cutting-edge performance. Whether you're a seasoned angler or just starting out, this reel offers the features and durability you need for a successful day on the water. Its versatility makes it an excellent choice for various fishing styles, including sea fishing, carp angling, and match fishing, ensuring you stay ahead of the competition. The thing that is questionable is the quality. I used Daiwa reels for near on 30 years with a few shimano in between, 6000 bait runners etc. Over the last few years I have used mainly Shimano, just because I spent so much time on Diawa's and I can. If you've got 20lb, I'd use it, won't affect your fishing. Will limit your casting but as the waters you fish are small, should be OK. The Forum was set up by the deep state to distract people with arguments about Daiwa vs Shimano and Fox vs Delks In my collection of reels I have okuma trio rex tx 60 , okuma 8k , okuma cassien , okuma epix pro (originals) and okuma coronado cdx 65 and have to say they have not missed a beat ... outstanding value for money .... I also own many daiwas inc different tournament models & and many shimanos ..

The catch is they weigh a tonne and if anything should go wrong you throw them away, they don’t get repaired like Daiwa and Shimano… Most of the modern reels don't appeal to me, far too much cheap plastic bling, and I am guessing that is for a few reasons, they can charge a premium to replace them and they can soon make them obsolete so you will need to upgrade?

It's called mass media control, used in the many instances, for example,by Goebbels,in the propaganda against the persecution of Jewish,Gypsies and Homosexuals.. Mark, being a tart ive owned several versions of Basiz, Techniums, XTBs. TBH ive had most. My fav was the GS9000/TS6000. Superb, bombproof and slow but its was great fro casting. Heavy beast as well but, to answer your question, Ive found no difference between all those high end shimanos and daiwas compared too the Okuma. I can fish 'long' as eaily with the 8k as I could with all those other reels as it has ALL the same features. The Okuma INC-6000 FD Reel features a compact body with a corrosion-resistant graphite construction, ensuring durability and longevity even in harsh conditions. The Long Stroke spool trip, measuring 30mm, provides exceptional casting power and accuracy, making it suitable for both sea fishing and carp angling.

I've only tried the Inc 6000's, but I guess the cb60 will be good as well. Something I've noticed this week because I was trying to buy one, spare spools for Inc 6000's are non existant. So if this is important to you, perhaps see if cb60 spare spools are available anywhere. now I'm not saying i wouldn't buy cheap reels because I have no issue upgrading every few years but just be aware the internals wont be like the better Shimano and Daiwa reels. Hence the price I guess. I love mine. I use them on my 10ft Cotswold Pace compacts and they are perfect for those. For the money I can't see what is better on the market at the moment.Have you done a straight comparison between the reels as far as distance casting. I.e with all other things being the same, how much difference in distance is there between them? This fast progressive drag allows a setting from low drag power to almost full drag power in less than 360° rotation.
