I don’t hate it, but it wouldn’t be my first choice for a glitter. The main problem I have is that the glitter is so big and chunky it looks like kids makeup but the effect on the eyes isn’t terrible and it has a very good lasting time. So overall, I think that if you want a glitter eyeshadow you won’t be disappointed with this, especially if you are on a budget but I prefer more classy glitter. All e.l.f. products are free from phthalates, parabens, nonylphenol ethoxylates, triclosan, triclocarban, and hydroquinone. All skincare is also free from sulfates. A strange comparison, but I find the Stila version to be more ‘wet’, in that you feel how wet they are when you apply them to the lids, and you have to allow them to try. The ELF Liquid Glitter Eyeshadow doesn’t feel wet, and sets down almost instantly on the lids. The swatch on the eyes looks patchy because of the way glitter reflects light, in real life it’s not. The formula is very sheer and the glitter is chunky and sparse. To me, it’s a bit too chunky and it looks like kids makeup, I see why people compare them to Stila but to me, they aren’t a dupe. They aren’t necessarily ugly and I’ll use them when I need glitter but the Stila ones are more elegant. The doe foot applicator allows an easy application and the shadow is easy to blend with the finger. You have time to move it around but once it sets, you won’t be able to move it.
