Strong's 1722: In, on, among. A primary preposition denoting position, and instrumentality, i.e. A relation of rest; 'in, ' at, on, by, etc. Eat, Drink, and BE Mary Eat, Drink, and BE Mary By Marguerite Mary Rigoglioso, Ph.D., author of The Mystery Tradition of Miraculous Conception: Mary and the Lineage of Virgin Births

Eat, drink and be merry, one of the many phrases from the bible quoted by Shakespeare, but if taken out of context can so easily be misleading. In Jesus’ parable there must have been an exceptional harvest, possibly several of them. Much grain to store and goods too. Who wouldn’t want to make sure their property would be safe from damage or rot. But is that part of God’s plan for us? Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a man's covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto. And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. If with merely human hopes I fought with wild animals at Ephesus, what would I have gained by it? If the dead are not raised, “Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die.” As You Like It: Act 3, Scene 5 Why, sir, for my part I say the gentleman had drunk himself out of his five senses. And behold, joy and gladness, killing oxen and slaughtering sheep, eating flesh and drinking wine. “Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die.” Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: …

But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.

Strong's 3498: (a) adj: dead, lifeless, subject to death, mortal, (b) noun: a dead body, a corpse. From an apparently primary nekus; dead. Well accept for the All-Star...that one still matters. All that matters now is that you come out on top today. In my most recent work with her, I’ve received the message that I should invite her to merge her light body with mine, chakra by chakra. I’ve done this for weeks now, asking her to heal and clear each of my chakras, and bring them up to her level. Not just the seven chakras of the body, but also the Holy Womb Chakra overlaying the abdominal area, as well as the Earth Star chakra a foot or more below my feet, the chakras of my limbs, hands, and feet, and the eighth through twelfth chakras above my head.

Reflecting on all of this in meditation, I realized that what was being revealed in my dream were aspects of myself that still exist, and that need tenderness, acceptance, and forgiveness. These are aspects of my personality that became wounded and distorted owing to the early traumas of loss, abandonment, and abuse—leading to a life that felt, at core, unsafe, unwelcoming of my soul, and unfriendly. Nothing is better for a man than to eat and drink and enjoy his work. I have also seen that this is from the hand of God.So I commend enjoyment because there's nothing better for people to do under the sun but to eat, drink, and be glad. This is what will accompany them in their hard work, during the lifetime that God gives under the sun." - Common English Bible Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine, as a current example, is an attempt to return Russia to the former Empire status of pre-1991, when the dissolution of the Soviet Union was in the process of internal disintegration. This resulted in the ending of the country’s, and federal government’s existence as a sovereign state, leading to its’ constituent republics, such as Ukraine and the Baltic States, gaining full sovereignty. Is this history being repeated, and God’s word perverted and ignored yet again? I have fought with beasts at Ephesus.--The question here arises, Are these words to be taken literally or figuratively? Does St. Paul refer to some actual contest in the arena with beasts, or to his conflict with the opponents at Ephesus, whom he thus designates beasts? It is scarcely possible to accept the former interpretation. There is no mention to be found of it in the Acts, and, moreover, his Roman citizenship would have legally protected him against such treatment. We must therefore conclude that the Ephesians themselves are spoken of as "beasts." Both Hebrew and Greek literature would have made such a form of expression familiar to the Apostle and to his readers. In the Psalms (see Psalm 22:12-13; Psalm 22:20-21) the opponents of God are similarly spoken of. The Cretans are called "evil beasts" by the poet Epimenides, whom St. Paul quotes in Titus 1:12. Heraclitus calls the Ephesians "beasts"--the same word as St. Paul uses here; and St. Ignatius ( Epis. ad Rom.) speaks of "fighting with beasts by land and sea," and having been bound to 'ten leopards,' that is a band of soldiers."

If we only live for now, and only live for ourselves, we’ve lost the meaning of life. How Should Christians Approach the Concept of YOLO and 'Eat, Drink, and Be Merry'? So I commend the enjoyment of life, because there is nothing better for a person under the sun than to eat and drink and be glad. Then joy will accompany them in their toil all the days of the life God has given them under the sun." - NIV If after the manner of men I fought with beasts at Ephesus, what doth it profit me? If the dead are not raised, let us eat and drink, for to-morrow we die. I will tell my soul, “Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years. Take your ease, eat, drink, and be merry.”’ The closest in wording to “eat, drink, and be merry, for tomorrow we may die” comes from 1 Corinthians 15:32:This means consciously redirecting my thoughts every time something negative about another person comes to mind. It doesn’t mean relinquishing discernment about what they are doing, it just means releasing the tendency to mentally condemn them. So I am convinced that we should enjoy ourselves, because the only pleasure we have in this life is eating and drinking and enjoying ourselves. We can at least do this as we labor during the life that God has given us in this world." - Good News Translation
