About this deal

There was a sweet smell from all the elements sun, water, flowers merging and Integrating that this perfume truly captures. If you watch the trailer for the perfume the ad creates a vision of a deep rainforest that this smell truly mirrors in its entirety. I'd recommend this to people of all ages who love something sugary and provocative that has a certain level of power to it. You CANNOT walk into a room and shrink with this on - you'll either seem insincere of coy - because this was made for you to stand out and have sensuelle eyes from the get go. It truly is quite rare in how it is so well blended. The animalic accord is fairly hidden behind all powder and white florals but it's there... laying like a leopard. Basking in its own loveliness. This one is a bit complex to describe, and it may smell overwhelming at times. It's different, but reminds me of the general vein of "Alien", so, it's not bizarre this one came from the same fashion house.

I heard this was available where I live in Canada (The Bay), so of course I had to rush out to try it.Just like Aura, Eau Sensuelle too gives me a weird nostalgic 80s feeling and again I cannot really put my finger on it. Suffice to say it instantly makes me feel summery, up beat and comfortably nostalgic at the same time. Because of this creamy texture and intense sweetness, I don't recognise it as rhubarb like in Hermès Rhubarbe Ecarlate, which is much more juicy, more sparkling and natural-smelling. In fact, the creamy fruitiness combined with the tropical, ripe greenness briefly evokes green banana in my head. The guts it took for a designer house to release this commands enormous respect. It took a while for people to appreciate it. I think many of us lament the fact that we didn’t understand it, until it was gone.

It's so addicting to smell it! At times it smells the way root beer tastes, other times it's a fresh powdery scent, and at the same time it has a camphoraceous menthol scent. In the initial spray it does have a citrus element that stings the nose with the alcohol and a tart sweetness like tart chalky candy (Sweetarts) but it goes away and becomes way softer. It doesn't really smell feminine to me but it does have a sweetness to it so it might not be exactly masculine either. I asked a few coworkers to smell it and one said it smelled like barbershop to her. I guess that kind of confirmed my belief that it seemed more masculine. I spray this on my pillows and some puff balls I had hanging in my car; I can't get enough of the scent! I am disappointed that the scent does not last long and dies down immediately and the sillage is very poor.... Maybe that's a good thing because other people might not like the way it smells. My boyfriend was okay with it it but it wasn't anything that was going to make him swoon. On my skin it dries down to a mild powdery vanilla or marshmallow scent and the root beer scent goes away. On clothes and pillows, the camphor / menthol scent is still there and sometimes smells like a very sugary spearmint chewing gum.....or maybe it smells the way the purple "Violet Flavor" Canel's gum tastes-- or maybe it was Chiclets grape flavor gum I am thinking of. When it really dies down, the scent reminds me of Matrix Biolage's "Blue Agave" Smoothing Shine Milk, but the milk has a tiny hint of coconut. Biolage has good smelling shampoos and conditioners; they have soothing scents. Their products don't have the camphor / menthol scent so if you want to experience the soothing green scent with the creamy vanilla, try Matrix Biolage's hair products. Aura MUGLER is a unique Ambery Floral Carnal fragrance with instinctive notes that vibrate and pulsate. It fuses floral freshness and feline sensuality.Aura Eau de Parfum Sensuelle is a much softer and a less harsh take on the original. It smells almost fresh and 'fizzy' to my nose, like the scent of a Lifesavers hard candy. You could class it as a gourmand-floral, as it has an 'edible' kind of an aroma. I sound like I hate this, when I don't. It is quality, and it is distinctive. If you can ignore the whole, medicine thing, it does have a lovely fresh, fizzy quality. It also reminds me of when you walk into the perfume section of a department store and you're hit by a cloud of every perfume under the sun. They may clash, but they also come together in joyous harmony, filling the air. This is exceptional ! Instant love at first sniff ! Wearing this for the past 5 days now and can’t get myself to wear anything else. Looks like a new signature is about to happen .... i was seriously expecting to hate this, even as a mugler stan. this one seems extra controversial. on paper, aura truly doesn't look like something i would normally go for (not much of a green fragrance enjoyer) but omfg. OMFG was i wrong

If I concentrate my attention, there is indeed an almond-like nuttiness embedded within, maybe stemming from the Tiger Liana which is described by Daphne Bugey as having vanilla, almond and smoky facets. Occasionally, a fatty, slightly sour animalic nuance can also be perceived. But they are not daring enough to provide a meaningful contrast like patchouli in Angel or aquatic spiciness in Womanity. Its longevity and silliage are outstanding performers for such an obnoxious scent. Kind of reminds me of some men, but that's a whole other subject. The sillage is pretty much non existent after wearing it for ~30 minutes I don't think anyone will be able to notice it except if they really lean in. For me I got about 6 hours of wear, as a skin scent, out of it and that's also quite disappointing. And yet I still in principle admire the less popular Mugler scents like Womanity. So I want to like this. It’s just so freaking hard! It’s a screamo sugar bomb- but a green herbal caramel milkshake? No that sounds like barf…It’s not bad. It’s just a lot. Of sugar. If you miss Ricci Ricci, this is her grassy springtime cousin. It's quirky, in a unique way same as Alien. They smell nothing alike, but share that same strong bold personality. If Alien smells sexy to you, this will come off as a fruity gentle dream. If you aren't into bold, attention seeking scents, avoid. But I'm a weirdo with a big personality, so I love this. First facet, a spicy floral flourish. Rich and intriguing, almost intoxicating. The gardenia is velvety and lush. The cinnamon leaf supplies a bit of warm spice.

It is early evening in late summer. The sun is low and warm yellow in the sky. I decide to walk after dinner, wandering no where in particular. The blossoms and herbs release their heady and rich scents leading me onwards. I realize I am in my favorite grove of fragrant trees. It is lit by fireflies. This is where I have met my beloved many times before. Will they appear tonight? It seems to be one of those perfumes which smells different to different people. For instance I get a lot of sweetness and fruits with something really aromatic that I can't put my finger on. It smells bright and fresh but it also smells airy if it's breezy and u catch a waft of it. Saying that though my sister smelt it on me and was like "omg that stinks what are you wearing its horrible" she gets the menthol and medicinal smell people have mentioned so out of curiosity I went around my family in the room one by one to see what they got from it lol .. Middle facet, The Green and The Herbal. The herbs are just past their full power, noticeable but less fresh and more poignant. Heady and a bit intoxicating. I don't perceive the medicinal herb present in the EDP and EDT. It's a very bright and cheerful perfume, in my opinion. I'm not usually a fan but someone with a caramel-esque perfume was standing close to me on the commute to work and I thought the warmth of burnt caramel would make a great addition to the Aura if the wearer wants to go in a more gourmand direction. There's a faint smell of wet grass, but nothing disgusting. I see how the heat and humidity really helps the fragrance to shine! Sigh, why can't fragrances I love perform this outstanding? Come to think of it, that reminds me of some people as well, lol. My husband said “you smell like a bunch of pixies hanging out in a wild strawberry bush in the forest.”
