About this deal

The fragrance actually starts rather fresh spicy. I find the bergamot in the opening is only briefly but very nice. Shortly thereafter, I smell actually only sweet. The Tonka comes through super strong and actually also quite nice. Probably the combo of amber cane sugar and tonka. And then I don't know what scent or combo it is. I have a hunch that it's the Nepalese oud? I have no idea though, because so far I've only known oud from the Delina exclusive and I think it's super nice there. In the drydown the sweetness softens even more, the musk definitely does a good job here. Still, that note continues to linger and does so for hours. And yes, Arabians Tonka is a beast. The longevity is really insane and the sillage is fierce too. I think two small sprays are enough for the complete day. Arabians Tonka is for me the most beautiful Montaleduft so far. Loud, sweet, vulgar and simply delicious. Who likes sweet fragrances, which will come here most certainly at his expense. And he may also buy blind. It has successfully applied to me. It won my heart at a gallop. (okay, I give it up) :-)

Arabian's Tonka is one of those fragrances I never had great expectations of. Since my experiences so far have been rather fluctuating, I was hoping for a very pleasing scent after all. Also the rose, which Montale likes to use very much, has always been quite annoying for me. Looking at it closely, I can say that the rose comes out less than expected, but it makes itself felt in a different way. Yes what can I say, with said 3 sprays you are most certainly perceived 6 hours. The first 3-4 hours even at more than an arm's length distance. What impressed me particularly is that even I perceive this fragrance after 6 hours again and again. The scent is a true powerhorse. (Damn, again) Yes this (or something like it) is probably what my application would look like if I were a fragrance.I like to test new fragrances in the night shift, because I'm mostly alone and can not bother anyone with possible missteps. Fragrance Bombs." I mean that positively, because durability and sillage are already very important to me. I would be very happy to receive an invitation to an interview where they can see my qualities for themselves. My greatest strengths are my steadfastness, my positive charisma and my irrepressible strength. Also of particular note are my good rose handling, balance and unisex qualities.

What surprised me very much, everyone who met me in my night service said I smell very good! And I was ashamed all the time because I thought " they are kidding me ". Trotzallem I can really only recommend this fragrance, so far I have only come across the Arabians Tonka and Pure Love. The fragrance is a very cuddly firework on the skin. Because it is very pleasing, flatters the nose and does not appear overly sweet. Just the beginning reminds of a Bourbon vanilla, which was slightly heated. Delicate fine aromas, sweetishly matt wood and wafer-thin rose petals. Little by little the woodiness decreases a little and the rose comes out a little more. For me as a rose hater but never in a way that would bother me. I knew that at some point the time would come, at some point the point would come when I would be told that my passion for perfume would create difficulties in my open-plan office. Although my colleagues are very steadfast and are used to a lot, this time I overdid it a bit. But the fact that it happens with this Montale Arabians Tonka surprises me a lot. Even my ombre nomad from Louis Vuitton has already provided for escape reflexes with a sprayer, but this Montale surprises me a little bit. In the job description, they made it clear that they were looking for a sweet, independent companion. I can totally identify with those qualities as well. This fragrance is of course not the great perfume art - but honestly? It doesn't always have to be. Arabians Tonka is, at least for me, just the hammer. But the big fireworks will then take place in the Sillage. Admittedly, I used four sprayers in the first test, but with these sprayers I fogged a 100 square meter office up to the ceiling, so that the smoke detectors and sprinkler system thought about switching to active mode for a short time. Because in the surrounding area a turgid rose with vanilla aromas has spread, which caused a bit of gasping. I heard a bit of it myself, but not to this extreme degree. Because the durability is also extremely good, so the day with the fragrance is definitely yours. First of all, I can say that the fragrance does not sniff the four-legged friend that is depicted on the bottle. Otherwise you probably would have thought you had a zoologist under your nose. The flacon itself is the normal Montale standard. I find these aluminium bottles quite decorative, but they are also wonderfully suitable for sharing, because you can simply screw them on. However, the quality is generally quite low. What can you expect if you expect at least a halfway high quality fragrance for the price? I looked forward to sampling Montale Arabians Tonka given how much I love the 2017 release Arabians, of which Arabians Tonka is nominally a flanker. However, Arabians Tonka smells more like Intense Café than it does the original Arabians, with a sugary vanilla pervasively covering a rose/oud blend that does, at least, seem to include tonka. It's very easy to enjoy and I quite like it, so I wouldn't say it's a miss, but considering the number of releases put out by the Montale/Mancera empire each year, it's unsurprising that some like Arabians Tonka will be a bit redundant with prior releases. I'm more preoccupied with the name since Arabians Tonka does not feel connected to the original Arabians. Still, I'm happy to have tried it. Not every Montale/Mancera release will be particularly inventive, to put it modestly.

I'm sure many of us know this: receiving gifts is great. But giving someone a gift is just intoxicating. Especially when it comes to perfume. I don't know why, but most of the time I'm much more excited about gifting my partner a fragrance than buying one for myself. The only problem with this is that I often tend to buy a bottle straight away, rather than holding a sample under the gentleman's nose first. Sometimes that works, sometimes it doesn't. Such is the case with Montale's Arabians Tonka, so beloved by many. The job of an escort has long appealed to me. Just working with people and the versatility that comes with this job made me send my application to them. I am totally intrigued, is this the Arabians Tonka ??? WOW, I am overwhelmed by this beautiful fragrance !!! But one experience I could also make is that this perfume is definitely not for the office. It is really very strong and very penetrating, so I really recommend only two spritzes with this fragrance. The Arabians Tonka I had for a long time on the list and for a few months he finally won the job posting and was now allowed to enjoy, as one of many, the trial run in the winter. And what can I say - the trial period is over - and he is definitely hired indefinitely. :-)For me, the price is absolutely fine for this quality. But this applies to all Montsledüfte, which are generally a good entry into the non-segment. Pleasing, affordable and still unique.
