First off, this headset looks very cute. It is pink all over, with removable cat ears included. If you are a streamer and you plan to wear the headset for a long time, you will appreciate the ears being separate from the headband. That way, they won’t dig into your head over long gaming sessions. For the price you’re paying, this offers decent sound quality. However, the bass is not as powerful, and the sound quality takes a pretty big hit when you put it up at higher volumes. If you are in the market for a headset for casual use, it will do just fine. However, if you need higher audio quality, we would recommend looking at another headset on this list. Just so you know, that’s not a typo in the product name. PlayStation names their headsets Silver for wired models and Gold for wireless. This one just so happens to also have gold in the name of the color. Regarding the sound quality, it does not have any surround sound features except for the usual two-channel stereo. The sound is considerably accurate and many listeners were very impressed by it. (especially when compared to the price.) Design-wise, this is an elegant, sharp-looking pink headset. The metal frame is deep and lustrous, while the cushions are a very light shade of pink. Also, the 7foot-long cable is designed for PC gamers. It can be difficult to manage if you’re plugged into a Nintendo switch or gaming controller. The inline controls do not match up to the cute aesthetic and the volume control dial is very small and sometimes difficult to manage. There is a single button for muting the mic but no buttons to mute the volume. (Instead, you will have to dial the volume control down.)

For gamers looking for a cheaper pink headset with a good microphone, the Zeus should be at the top of your list. It delivers good value, even if it doesn’t make it to the top of this list. The cushioning on the earpads is a little light but does a good job of keeping the ears well-padded and comfortable. In addition to its cute design, this headset is also very comfortable to wear. The big earcups are similar to the wired Kraken model. Unlike the wired model, though, this headset has a looser fit. If you have a small head or if you move around a lot while you are gaming, this headset is likely to slip off. If you wear a hat or have a lot of hair, this shouldn’t be a big problem.Listening to music is a lovely experience in the ATH-M50xSTS, which I kind of expect for an Audio Technica headset. These are essentially a rebuild of the ATH-M50x so they're brimming with that good sound DNA. It's well balanced with little details shining through in songs. A little bass heavy in the way that all headsets tend to be, but it's fairly mild and the bright treble and warm tones are lovely to be immersed in. The top headsets offer the best sound for gamers at each end of the budget spectrum. Quality drivers ensure you get the best audio, and we're against gaming headphones that overdo low frequencies, as it provides terrible bass response in most cases. The best gaming headsets offer more balance drivers that require minimal tweaking on your end, and you won't need to spend hundreds of dollars. One thing to note is that it might be difficult to connect these headphones to gaming consoles, so I suggest reading up on how to use regular headphones on Xbox One. The price listed at this time makes the EG3 Pro one of the best budget-priced pink gaming headsets. This headset works with a PC and console, although the USB hookup is only for the lighting effects. If you need a good all-around headset for a reasonable price, you may have found the right one.
