Our test showed that we could work very well with this weight. Even longer vacuuming sessions weren’t a problem. The size of the Dyson floor vacuum is somewhat universal. No matter how tall you are, you shouldn't have any problems vacuuming. In the box, you also get a crevice tool, dusting brush, stubborn dirt brush and combination too. That’s pretty much every accessory you could need for daily cleaning.

The Laser Slim Fluffy cleaner head works as advertised, revealing dust on hard floors that would otherwise be invisible. I couldn't believe the amount of dust it showed under my dining room table, where robot vacuums have a hard time reaching; had it not been for the laser, I might have overlooked this spot. Dyson says the laser is safe for pets and humans, but you should avoid looking directly into the beam. You can easily turn the laser on and off using a slider on the cleaner head. The lighter and smaller the vacuum cleaner, the easier it is to handle. The powerful suction takes its toll here, though. Yes, that is no problem for the battery. Once it is fully charged, the V15 will not use any more electricity. The Dyson V15 feels good in the hand. It glides straight across the floor, especially with the Fluffy attachment.

With the High Torque head, you also get Dyson’s DLS technology, which measures the resistance of the head 360 times per second and adjusts speed automatically as you change floor surface. Combined with the dust sensor, you’ll get the best automatic power mode. On Auto mode, battery life differs depending on how much power is needed. Expect around 40 minutes or so of power. On the display, you get a real-time battery life display in minutes counting down. This adjusts based on the power mode you have set and the tools attached, so you can always see how much more cleaning time you have left. It works like this: Simply clip it onto the suction tube and attach two attachments of your choice to the holder. Using the V15 in handheld mode means it can be used for a myriad of different dust collecting tasks, including vehicles, ensuring you don't need a separate car vacuum.
