About this deal

Let us help you, we will unbox, assemble and demonstrate how to operate the bike, what to look out for and how to charge it, store and safely handle the ADO A16 electric bike. Where to get parts, service & repair for A16 A16 in UK? You have 2 options: Even so, with the bike folded, it isn’t particularly stable on its rest and had a tendency to fall over. This is in part down to the bike’s hefty weight of 24kg: that’s super-heavy to the point that anything other than the occasional lifting isn’t fun. Taking the bike on the Tube, it was fine where I just had to carry the ADO A20 onto the train, but carrying it up and over a railway bridge proved quite the workout. Mudguards come as standard, which isn’t the case with the expensive GoCycle G4, and you even get lights. The front light is powered by the bike’s battery, but the rear light is a battery-operated model. Still, lights as standard are to be applauded.

I bought a cheap velcro strap online and used this to hold the bike together in its folded state; it made the A20 far easier to carry around, particularly when getting it on and off the Tube. Holding the frame together made it more stable on its rest, and the folding pedals keep out of the way. ADO bikes are designed to offer riders advance options direct from the LCD display, you can configure the setting to your preference and, set the power level, riding mode, brightness, speed limit and more to your preference. The LCD display also shows live cycling stats, battery power level & more. The revolutionary folding electric bikes that has taken cyclist to the next level of e-bike riding. ADO E-bikes are elegant and high quality built that delivers robust performance on any terrain.

That said, this isn’t necessarily poor. In fact given the bike clearly isn’t made for long, leisurely jaunts through the countryside, the range seems perfectly adequate. Indeed a large proportion of folding e-bikes will have smaller batteries. Value The DECE 300C is a 27.5inch electric commuter bike with a Simano 9-speed and manually adjustable damping system, which makes it easy to adapt to all kinds of terrain; it is also equipped with a hydraulic brake system, which makes braking more efficient and smooth, especially in emergency situations such as sudden stops and in rainy and snowy weather, you can clearly feel the safety it brings you.

The ancillary components are also covered for 12 months – front suspension fork, seat post, handlebar, stem, brakes, brake lever, crankset, gear shifter and rear derailleur. With the power on, you turn on the bike using the button on the LCD panel. This panel tells you the current speed you’re travelling at and how far you’ve cycled in total. It defaults to kilometres per hour, but you can change the settings to make the display read in miles per hour. I’ll continue testing the Ado A26 to see how the battery fairs and update this article accordingly – I would say a realistic range would be in the region of 30 miles (48km).The ADO A20 uses a brushless internally geared rear hub motor – these motors are designed to be small, lightweight and efficient. This proven technology is likely to provide a long service life with minimal reliability issues. For the current price it’s about right for an e-bike of this quality, I would say the build quality and finish are on a par with something like the Ancheer Pro. All the components work as they should, the brakes aren’t great but they do the job. Gear shifting is typical Shimano 7-speed. The bike looks awesome and the adjustable handle bar and seat makes it very comfortable to ride. The brakes are stable, the bike rides very silently and feels very responsive.
