About this deal

These machines are designed to work autonomously, so you won’t need to worry about them getting lost or breaking down. They also come with a variety of features that make them more efficient than traditional vacuums. What Features Does the iRobot Roomba i5+ Have? A robot vacuum cleaner is an excellent choice for anyone who wants to keep their home clean without having to lift a finger. Adulting is non stop, so something relieving me of a task or two is more than welcome. This is one gift I wouldn’t mind getting for Christmas or a birthday! This is a great question actually. Mine has learnt where everything is, and if it can fit through the gap it does. As you can see in the pictures below, it goes around my indoor cycling trainer table. It also goes through my dining chairs, under the sofa and around the legs… basically vacuuming places that I actually can’t reach.

Roomba i7 is, just like i3, a model that can have a self-emptying dustbin if you opt to buy the "plus" model. If you buy the basic i7, you can upgrade it later to have the Clean Base dustbin mechanism, but with a higher cost. Whether you buy i7 or i7+, they're the same device. These models are old Roomba models, phased out years ago. They're still sold at some retailers, but they originate from the year 2017 or earlier. As we haven't reviewed these models and as they're already end-of-life models, we aren't going to go into their specs or details here. The same applies to older 900 series models, like Roomba 960 series. Roomba j7 looks very much like slightly modernized version of Roomba i7 - and for most parts, it is exactly that. Just like the other modern Roomba models, the j7 ships in two varieties: the basic model and the "plus" model. Again, the only difference between these is the auto-emptying Clean Base dustbin: j7+ has one, the j7 doesn't have it. And yes, you can upgrade later your basic j7 to j7+ - you need to buy an upgrade kit, which includes the Clean Base and some new parts to the vacuum itself. Now, here, it is good to remember that the self-emptying dustbin feature comes with the "plus models" only. So, i3+ can empty its own dustbin, but i3 can't. Otherwise, these two models are identical. And the dustbin feature can be upgraded to i3 separately, but it will cost more than the difference in the price of i3 and i3+. Significantly better than the basic 600 series. Supports network connectivity and can be controlled with a smartphone. Has scheduling options. Better filter: doesn't smell bad, like the 600 series does. Fill the Roomba Combo® Bin's tank with a compatible cleaning solution 2 of your choice or just water and instantly transform your robot into a vacuuming and wet mopping robot that leaves your home fresh and clean. For example, Roomba e5 is widely sold also as Roomba e5152 in Europe. But no matter what the numbers are, it is still the very same Roomba e5, the latter numbers don't matter at all. Sure, again, they can indicate either retail channel, number of accessories the device ships with, color - or simply the geographical area the device was aimed for (say, Europe or the United States).

The size of your space, along with the type of flooring you have and the amount of furniture you’ve got, all play a role in choosing a Roomba. Different classes of Roomba are capable of mapping and cleaning differently-sized areas, so if you’ve got a huge home to clean, you’ll want to be sure and get a Roomba that has both the mapping capabilities and battery life to handle it. All current Roombas are capable of cleaning both carpeted and hardwood floors and transitioning between them, but some do so better than others. If you’ve got high-pile rugs, for instance, you’ll want something with greater suction power that’s capable of lifting dirt from deep in the rug. Finally, if your space is cluttered with furniture and other obstacles, you’ll probably want a Roomba with smart mapping and obstacle avoidance since it will learn your space, know where to go and ultimately clean more efficiently. How we tested

Most Roomba vacuums come with Wi-Fi connectivity. With this, you can connect your vacuum to your smartphone, which allows you to better monitor and control it.
