About this deal

The pad itself is also really sleek looking, lightweight, and very thin. One issue I have with the pad is the dimensions, measuring at13.75″ x 10.6, it only fits laptops up to 14″. However, many popular laptops (like my own 15″ MacBook Pro) are 15 inches or more and would be too large for this pad. Even unfortunate notebooks with no vents on the bottom can benefit somewhat from having the underside of the chassis cooled as a little bit of help in terms of temperature management. This is yet another state-of-the-art laptop EMF shield from HARApad. This laptop pad is the absolute best that money can buy. Most of the laptop shields in the market are flat. Although they do a good job protecting the bottom part of your body from EMF exposure, the sides of the laptop still remain exposed.

Although some laptop cooling pads run with one big fan – or multiple smaller ones – that’ll hit pretty much everything, and there are even modular pads where the fans can be repositioned. The inside has multiple layers of shielding material, including a “faraday fabric” layer, and a layer of anti-radiation aluminum. What they did was tested the semen from 29 healthy men. Half the group was tested with exposure to a laptop connected to WiFi, and the other half was tested with exposure to the same levels of heat, but without the same EMF radiation exposure. After 4 hours of exposure to EMF radiation from a laptop, a quarter of sperm were no longer even swimming. On top of that, the sperm exposed to the laptop suffered much greater levels of DNA damage than the “control” sperm. First of all, yes, laptops are a large source of EMF radiation, and certainly produce enough that you should be concerned. Most of the radiation coming from your laptop is magnetic field radiation, but through their connectivity to your WiFi, they also produce radio frequency radiation. Although EMF radiation has been connected to all sorts of biological effects, let’s just talk briefly about three specific ways that laptops cause harm, all of which can be relieved with a laptop shield. Radiation Burns

On the other hand, if you use your laptop for casual everyday use or for things not too intensive on the hardware, like Chrome-based applications or Microsoft Office Suite, you may not need a laptop cooling pad. A lower temperature is always a better option for laptops, but if you’re not straining your tech too much there might be little reason to invest in a cooling pad. However, if you start to notice your notebook becoming hot during use, you might want to reconsider. How laptop cooling pads help with cooling There are few things more frustrating – and potentially damaging – than an overheating laptop, which is why it’s prudent to invest in the best laptop cooling pad possible.

FROM THE ORIGINAL PIONEERS OF EMF PROTECTION: We introduced the very first EMF protection products to the market over 11 years ago, and we have no plans to stop innovating! Weve shown time and again that we solve the problems our competitors ignore. DefenderShield is one of the top brands that manufacture EMF protection products. Their DefenderPad laptop EMF radiation and heat shield is the best EMF shield for laptops that you can find out there. It has a very simplistic look with a very high EMF shielding ability. After 4 hours of exposure, one-fourth of the sperms were not even swimming. In addition, the sperms that were exposed to radiation suffered greater DNA damage compared to the other group. In their conclusion, they have stated that laptop heat and EMF radiation may decrease male fertility. So there is some debate over whether skin issues related to laptop use comes purely from the heat, or whether the EMF radiation itself plays a role. However, regardless, the heat and radiation produced from a laptop can be extremely damaging to your skin. In fact, balancing your laptop on your lap has been shown to cause what is called “toasted skin syndrome,” or sometimes called “laptop-induced dermatosis.”

PROUDLY MADE IN THE USA: All of our products are, and have always been, 100% sourced and manufactured in USA. We will never outsource any of our business overseas! Answer: Yes, of course. Laptops usually emit EMFs in many different frequencies. All these can eventually cause many physical problems. Lightweight: The SafeSleeve anti-radiation laptop case is very lightweight, weighs only 589.67 grams. So, even while using it as a lap desk, you won’t even feel that it is there. I wrote a long post about the how EMF radiation affects fertility in men if you’re interested, so I won’t go into too much detail about this here. Essentially, the heat and EMF radiation from things like a laptop (or even your cell phone) can have lasting effects on the quality and quantity of your sperm.

In their study, they tested the semen from twenty-nine healthy men. Half of them were exposed to laptops connected with Wi-Fi with the same heat and radiation level. The other half of the group was exposed to the same level of heat but without the EMF radiation exposure. Cooler Master knows cool, you would hope, and the firm’s Notepal is a winner in our books. Using a single large 230mm fan – which is impressively quiet, we might add – it has a fan speed controller, and is designed to pipe ‘optimal airflow’ through your laptop. Indeed, it shifts an impressive amount of air, being rated at 89.8 cubic feet per minute; a very effective level of cooling.

Answer: It is safe, but not good for health. That’s because the electromagnetic radiation from the laptop can have adverse effects on the body. So, it is best to keep your laptop away whenever you are not using it.
