Second Thessalonians 3:6 even speaks of avoiding those who claim to follow Jesus yet live in sin "in the name of Jesus." Here, the idea of the authority of Jesus is also used, emphasizing that Paul's teaching is from Christ rather than His own opinion. Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles… Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,Strong's 3962: Father, (Heavenly) Father, ancestor, elder, senior. Apparently a primary word; a 'father'. What cut this short was Conlon's move to London during an IRA bombing campaign and being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
