About this deal

Razer claims their optical mechanical switches mean 0.2ms latency with every press, while the “average mechanical gaming keyboard” has a 2-2.4ms delay. You’d have to be an eSports-player to notice it, but I can’t confirm if even that’s the case. More noticeable when gaming was what little effort it took to press a key and how responsive and wobble-free those presses were. One of Razer’s greatest advantages is its peripherals’ long feature lists. The Huntsman V2 isn’t so expensive just because of its optical switches. It also has a lot of gaming functionality, like on-the-fly and software macro recording and programmable keys. With Razer’s Synapse software, keybindings can automatically launch with a specific game or other app, and you can program every key to have another function when right FN is pressed simultaneously. Detachable Type-C Cable: The detachable Type-C cable adds convenience for transport and ensures a secure connection during gameplay. But the implementation of the stabilizers seems to be an issue here--at least for me. The stabilizers Razer put in the Huntsman V2 aren’t like your usual Cherry stabilizers; the stabilizers used in the Huntsman line have two clips that attach to the bottom of the spacebar. In conclusion, the Razer Huntsman V2 TKL Tenkeyless Gaming Keyboard is a testament to Razer's commitment to delivering the ultimate gaming experience. Its combination of speed, precision, and durability makes it a standout choice for competitive gamers and enthusiasts alike.

If you want a tkl layout keyboard andyou play games like CS, or cod or other fps titles where you become a sweaty nerd this will be a good keyboard for you! The TKL layout is great to if you dont want it to take up too much real estate on your desk. The braided fiber cable is also there, all the way to the left side, (making it easier to snake behind your best gaming monitor stealthily than the centrally located cable in the Huntsman Elite). And while there’s no USB passthrough port or RGB wrist rest, the wrist rest has been updated from the Huntsman Elite. There’s no longer a plastic bezel going. Instead, it’s plush from edge to edge.We cut to a metal sphere rolling along the keyboard’s padded wrist rest, highlighting the cushion’s plush texture. Text appears: Extra plush comfort, REPOSE-POIGNETS ERGONOMIQUE

It’s what’s on the inside that matters most, right? In this case, aside from the sound-dampening foam, there’s a PCB that supports Razer’s HyperPolling technology, which allows for a polling rate of 8,000 Hz. If you’re a Razer fiend, this would pair well with the Viper 8K Hz mouse, which we liked in our review but not solely because of its high polling rate.

Device Layout

We've converted this review to Test Bench 1.3, which overhauls how key input is evaluated. We've added new tests for Single Key Latency, Multi Key Latency, Data Transmission, and Chord Split. We've also introduced a new Raw Performance usage and adjusted how the Gaming and Office usage scores are calculated. You can see the full changelog here. Similar to what’s available in other keyboard software like Logitech’s G Hub, Synapse can set profiles for specific games, which was extremely useful when I played Zombies mode on Cold War.

Text appears: Extra plush comfort, ERGONOMISCHE HANDBALLENAUFLAGEMeanwhile, Corsair carries the K70 RGB TKL Champion Series, which does have media keys and also does 8K polling, but like Logitech’s board, doesn’t have the same comfortable switches. The wrist rest, again, is missing. How long will it last? As the hangar doors shut close, the space becomes shrouded in darkness, highlighting the keyboard’s Razer Chroma RGB lighting for a brief moment. The camera shifts down to a full shot of the Razer Huntsman V2 Tenkeyless keyboard, which has a noticeably more compact form factor, but also has Razer Chroma RGB lighting and an ergonomic wrist rest. Text appears: The Razer Huntsman V2 is a fantastic keyboard: great looks, smart design and performance to say the least. Ergonomic Wrist Rest: The included wrist rest adds comfort during extended gaming sessions, reducing fatigue and strain.
