About this deal

Mercury’s upstairs Live venue has a capacity of over 600, and has seen most of South Africa’s top acts perform on its stage. Foosball and pool tables provide a diversion in between performances. With regular specials and promotions on offer, it’s a firm favourite with live music aficionados. The CT-S1WE is a portable keyboard that delivers incredible sound quality, style, and simplicity. Whether you need an affordable first 61 key keyboard, a portable piano for practice or performance, or an always-ready songwriting partner, the CT-S1WE goes beyond your expectations and redefines what a portable keyboard should be. One of his first big miles stones on his journey was winning a national talent competition. After that there was no stopping Jesse! Not only did he get a mjor record deal, but Jesse went on to form the Jesse Jordan Band. The Jesse Jordan Band consisted of Alex Power on keys, Heindrich Schultz on guitar, JP Crouch on drums and Sheree Power on Rhythm guitar. The sounds are quite good on this keyboard. The Surround sound also is a very clever way to make the sound so much richer and more natural sounding. It essentially pans the keys based on where they are located on the keyboard (lower notes to the left, higher to the right), much the way an acoustic piano would sound if you were sitting at it. The Advanced sounds are especially fun to play with (piano and strings, drawbar organ, etc) and sound FAR better than I'd ever expect from an inexpensive practice keyboard.

Our nominated carrier is Parcel Force. Deliveries are made Monday – Friday between 9.00am – 6.00pm (excluding Bank Holidays). After years with the Jesse Jordan Band, Jesse has started a new solo journey. It’s just him, a guitar and his life experiences. He has spent the last two years writing new songs which explore the lessons he’s learned on his journey. This venue is actually two in one: the Live and the Lounge areas. With its own in-house sound and lighting system, the Mercury has built a superb reputation and a loyal clientele during its 10-year existence. Complete the short form that accompanies your product. Please ensure that you complete all of the sections, as this will guarantee the timely processing of your return/exchange.It’s the same story with the vintage keyboards, organs, synths, strings and other sounds - you even get some classics from Casio’s older VL-Tone, CT, CZ and VZ synths. For customers in outlying areas of the country, the price of the Extended Warranty may be marginally higher, due to the potential for higher collection and redelivery transport costs. L'unica pecca riscontrata è che durante le funzioni speciali di abbinamento strumenti qualche accordo risulta leggermente scordato. Ma questo piccolo fallo non intralciare il proprio lavoro perché davvero minimo e udibile solo da orecchi allenati.

One of your responsibilities will be to work as a relief admin assistant at our Claremont and N1 City stores, so you must have reliable transport, and be willing to travel. I formerly owned a Yamaha NP-12, which I wanted as a travel piano. I never found myself satisfied with that keybed and eventually sold it. Comparing the two I would definitely recommend the Casio. The Casio doesn't feel like it's trying to fool you into thinking it's a weighted-key piano, and instead works to create a nuanced, responsive experience from a semi-weighted feel. It also far exceeds the sample quality and speaker quality of the NP-12. The only sound I wish it had that seems 'obvious' but doesn't really have is a good classic soft brass synth sound. It pretty much nails the in-your-face saw wave with a very nice Oberheim sound (Jump, its the classic Jump sound). Owned by former band and road manager Kevin Winder, the Mercury has a solid reputation for providing the best quality sound in a convenient and well-equipped venue. This ethos extends to making sure that only the best bands, both established and up-and-coming, are invited to play, resulting in top quality music nights. COVERAGE: The plan covers all defects & malfunctions under the original manufacturer’s warranty. The plan starts the day after the manufacturer’s warranty ends. It does not cover physical or liquid damage, accessories, consumables or parts that are not covered under the standard manufacturer’s warranty.Overall the CT-S1 is an exceptional value for the money. I have quite a few nicer synths and keyboards but really wanted something specifically for practicing on, and something with internal speakers that I could just flip on without having to turn on my rather complicated DAW/MIDI setup. I also wanted something I could easily carry around and let the little kiddo play with without worrying too much about it getting broken.

It should be said, though, that if you just want to do the basics - ie, sit down and play - the CT-S1 is about as easy to use as you could hope for. The only negative I found is that the keys felt thin (as in thin plastic) on the white keys at first touch. As my first impression I assumed the playability would be a miss, but in fact I've found the keybed very satisfying despite the impression of it feeling like thinner than usual plastic. Bare in mind that my primary keyboard is a Yamaha Montage 6, which has great action but also feels like it's built to withstand a bomb blast. I'm speculating that Casio wanted to keep the weight down, and thankfully it didn't adversely affect the feel while playing.Create an impressive sound. Casio's new AiX sound source has been redesigned from top to bottom to create the best keyboard sound that modern technology can produce. With high-performance DSP effects and master EQ, it produces sounds with greater clarity and expression than previously found in a portable keyboard. Added to this are the new Bass Reflex speakers, to deliver a powerful bass sound that will project your sound with strength. The sound itself is rich and surrounding, thanks to 64 note polyphony to let all your notes ring out true. Vary your sound with touch sensitive keys, which you can adapt with three different touch response levels. This will replicate the way that an acoustic piano's dynamics are altered by how strongly you press on the keys. Add expression to your performance. Fun voices and digital effects
