About this deal

The first thing you do when sitting down to play a new tabletop game, perhaps after briefly examining the components, is read the rulebook.

You must be over 18, a resident of the country offering Afterpay, and meeting additional eligibility criteria to qualify. Every card has a printed value from one to three, and you can say the total of the numbers on the cards you wish to offer up for auction. With 44 cards, there are near infinite possibilities so you can solve a different crime again and again. Please note: a signature is required for most deliveries so please choose an address where someone is in. The player who asked for the cards can then choose to take up your offer or not, but must be aware that they could be handed evidence they’ve already eliminated, or red herrings. This does not affect your statutory rights) If items are received back damaged, or missing items we are entitled to make a charge to cover the cost of this, and thus this may affect the amount credited to you. So, if you’re always the one who discovers who heated smelly food in the microwave or who left a tissue in their pocket and fluffed-up the washing, then this game is for you.

Finance is provided by PayPal Credit (a trading name of PayPal UK Ltd, Whittaker House, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond-Upon-Thames, Surrey, United Kingdom, TW9 1EH). This is a game of deduction, deception and collecting evidence and to keep track of this each players uses their case tracker. Hi, I was recently in Wal-Mart when I saw the Casefile board game (along with Hunt-a-killer) and I decided to get it for family game night. I like the challenge of trying to eliminate as many pieces of evidence as quickly as possible, and trying to get to a point where you can make an educated guess as quickly as possible. In this mystery board game based on the hit true crime podcast Casefile, delve into the case of the murdered Casey Parker and be the first to solve it.

Based on the hit podcast of the same name, this seedy, self-branded “strategy game” Case File Truth and Deception (it is certainly not, your first clue that this was developed by people who fundamentally don’t understand the concepts they’re working with right out of the gate) sees players take on the role of detectives attempting to solve a murder mystery, exchanging evidence in shady deals and pulling the wool over their rivals’ eyes, bribing and lying to one another in equal measure to uncover the truth. You and a group of friends can take on the role of detectives, working together to solve a murder mystery.

But when a rulebook is incomprehensible and flat out omits rules altogether, it’s more than a slog; it’s unforgivable. The stuffed animal could preferably have been double bagged inside the packaging though, since the package had a small rip and thus the toy was in risk of damage. When you’re playing a game that’s entirely chance, you might as well all be rolling dice to see who throws a six first. With evidence cards to help you piece together the clues, this game is sure to provide plenty of fun and intrigue. We all love game night, and we all have our favourite games but do love discovering new games to play.

Wealthy businessman Casey Parker has been murdered, and it’s the responsibility of you and your team mates to solve the case. When that rulebook is complicated, or long, it can be a bit of a chore to learn the game and teach everyone else.
