Bols Genever Gin became one of the most important ingredients for a new phenomenon in the 19th century, the cocktail.Fourteen ingredients such as angelica root aniseed ginger root apricot nuts and learwyt seed are then infused for flavouring. Made with a malt wine base as opposed to neutral spirit the result is a rich, full bodied like whisky but with the herbal complexity of a wondeful gin.
