About this deal

We use cookies to give you the best possible experience on our site, provide personalised content and advertising, analyse our traffic, and ensure you see more of what you love. It was initially released as a box set, with a 168-page book titled "Get Back", containing stills and dialogue from the film.

When I started to look into it some more I discovered that what I had in my collection was actually a fake. This album has been prepared using the 2009 digital remasters which had been created from the original stereo analogue master tapes. And it was only two weeks ago, after finally picking up a genuine copy at a record fair, that I could conduct a side-by-side analysis to spot the differences. He omitted Don’t Let Me Down (the B-side of the Get Back single) and instead included a 1968 take of Across the Universe. The picture sleeve shows just light creasing to the laminate in places and a little minor wear leaving it a great Excellent example complete with the Apple-adresses inner. The vinyl is in EXCELLENT condition, great stereo sound, occasional background noise in places but still sounds great.

On the same day, HMV released a special 12" box set with CD, badge, booklet and photos in a limited edition of 10,000 units as catalog number BEA CD 25/8. Hi karin_templin, you could check the releases The Beatles - Let It Be, The Beatles - Let It Be, The Beatles - Let It Be, The Beatles - Let It Be , The Beatles - Let It Be, The Beatles - Let It Be. This measures 9½" x 16½" and is folded as designed, neatly at appproximately 12" to fit into the box. They then decamped to their new studio in their Apple office building in Saville Row and on January 30th performed their last ever live group performance on the rooftop. Following on from the global success of ‘Abbey Road’, Apple Corps and USM are proud to present the next multi-format Beatles album reissue of ‘Let It Be’.

Genuine Let It Be pressings with the red Apple were mastered at Bell Sound by a guy named Sam Feldman and that’s why you can see his initials “sf” scratched into the vinyl above. This is in a really nice condition, free from holes and has never been displayed, with just a couple of tiny corner creases. Irrespective of the source, all of our collectables meet our strict grading and are 100% guaranteed.Furthermore, depending on the Capitol pressing plant they originate from, legitimate pressings will have either the letters “IAM” in a triangle (Scranton PA), an asterisk (Los Angeles CA), or a mark that is supposed to resemble a rifle (Winchester VA). Thanks to George Martin/Glyn Johns/Billy Preston/Mal Davies/Peter Brown/Richard Hewson/Brian Rogers". I believe it is a legit pressing as everything I have found online to identify true pressings notes it as such, BUT it is missing the "Phil + Ronnie" etching. By the way, the “IAM” in the triangle stands for the International Association of Machinists Union whose workers ran the pressing plant).
