As mentioned before, the images on these discs show a marked improvement over last year's initial Blu-ray release. As for the colour (color) issue - it didn't bother me as the changes seemed minor in respect to the long length of the films, and the 'feel' of only some of the scenes. This film doesn't play the heroes as longtime friends (and really, on a journey this massive, one would have to become friends, or the path would be too insufferable), as they quarrel and bicker on occasion.
