When you are using the LX-B4FM for 4 way conference intercom talk, please don't connect the two bridge units to the mobile phone or it will occupy one bluetooth channel and interrupt the intercom connection. To remove the main unit from the bracket, use the Dismounting Stick to insert it between B4FM unit and the mounting bracket, then push the B4FM main unit up from the bracket. Last intercoms I had were old dumb and cheap wired ones which were useless above 30mph, so the Lexin's are a revelation to me. While in intercom mode with your LEXIN they won’t be able to hear their music or their GPS audio directions.
The outdated tech of the B4FM puts it at the mercy of more advanced headsets that have better features and software. So a small 1/4" channel was cut into the cheek pad plastic retained and voila, successful installation. If you get stuck or confused, you can press the vol - and + and easily reset the connections on a unit to start fresh. I'm able to connect B4FM-1 with my G9 mobile-1 and B4FM-2 with my G9 mobile-2, but I can't find a way so that we speak to each other (all 3 at the same time). After a short highway ride we were on some back roads when I noticed how quiet the intercom was, there we zero wind noise, and non of us could hear the bikes engines or any other ambient noise.
It kills the audio of any non-LEXIN device that establishes the first direct bridge connection with you.
