If you are looking for a magical children’s fantasy with fantastic backstory, POVs, magic, love and character enhancement, this one is for you! The setup is pretty good, and the monsters are good, but the plot is underdeveloped despite the book’s length. Insgesamt konnte mich Aisling Fowler hat mit ihrem Fantasyroman „Feuerblut – Die Reise zum Frostpalast“ eine gelungene Fortsetzung geschrieben, welcher sich nicht hinter dem Vorgänger verstecken muss. Gemeinsam mit den Protagonisten brechen wir in ein neues Abenteuer auf und stellen uns dabei alten, aber auch neuen Feinden.

At Frost Palace, Phoenix is paralyzed by her fear of failure and Dog is endangered by the waters of the Clasp. Yes the protagonists are young, but the adults respect them for their skills and capabilities, and I didn't once done myself thinking 'why on Earth did you do that?You guys are such a force for good and I am a passionate supporter of Indie booksellers, so I'm so happy this worked out well (I'd love to know how many books were sold if you have it to hand - it felt like quite a lot! So apparently, I have to wait until September 2024 for the next in the series and I just don't think I have that kind of patience.
