I was shocked to see the product had indeed worked, despite there being no visible colour residue in the water during rinsing. I then apply a semi permanent straight after using Colour B4 to my hair – but as this was for the purposes of a review and how to use it I dried it to see the results. I did find it dried out a bit but probably because I didn’t use conditioner incase I wanted to do it again. It’s not hugely different, maybe 2 or 3 shades lighter*, but as I said – I wasn’t expecting much because of my dark brown shade AND all of the random stuff I’ve put on my hair in the past few years.my hair was so dark nearly black an im naturally light brown/dark blonde but after years of lightening, black, dark brown and red i wanted to try and go blonde again so used the extra strength and it was AMAZING! You need to make sure all those old colour pigments are gone before using your previous shampoo or re-colouring. If u have a xxl colour like party colours red/blue etc it won't work, they stain the hair rather than dye so contain different ingredients that can't be removed with b4.

Again I liked it for a couple weeks but was getting fed up with the dye continuously washing away and spoiling my towels so I decided enough was enough I’m going to use a hair stripper, Now I already new my hair was comprised from the platinum and the two bouts of hair dying process so I knew I would have further damage. iuseditthreetimesasitdidntdomuchthefirsttimebutendedupwithginger(natural)rootsthenauburnforacoupleofinchesthenadarkpurpleyblacktotheends. Please do not cut time on what they recommend to wash it out for, if it says 10 minutes, wash it for 11! Or if you have applied a dark brown, red or black shade (you just don’t want) then Colour B4 Extra Strength can help. I'm planning on applying a little more leave in conditioner at some point but otherwise my hair feels pretty OK to me, not as dry as I feared.

BEFORE YOU START -Conduct a patch test as per instructions ,Conduct a strand test as per instructions, Make sure you protect your clothing, Never use metal combs or bowls, Ensure all products used are plastic, Always wear the gloves provided,Remove jewellery before use, Always use hand hot water, Apply to dry hair. If your ends look about the colour you are aiming for and its your scary canary orange roots that don’t, just apply the colour to the roots – leave for about 5 minutes, check it and if its a good match massage through your hair and the rinse then. I know not everyone will have the desired results, but not even a reply to say that they were sorry and that 'this' or 'that' could be the cause, no trying to give reasons like the brand of dye I'd used, etc.
