About this deal

Happy Cup + Straw System: The final cup in the Developmental Cup Set is the 8oz Happy Cup + Straw for children 2+ years. Breastmilk: The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) states that parents can continue breastfeeding and offering breastmilk even after your child's first birthday. The mini size is perfect for mini mouth and hands and thanks to the anti-slip, the cup will not slip out of the hands.

It also provides parents with tips for teaching their child how to drink successfully from an open cup and safely use a straw. But if you start cup drinking at 6 months of age with the Tiny Cup, you will have a toddler that is a successful and safe cup drinker with our Mini Cup! This is important as a child may need to revisit correct lip and tongue placement when sucking liquid from a longer straw. You can even offer them the Mini Spoon, too, since the skill of scooping matures around 11-18 months of age!Since the Mini Cup has similar features to the Tiny Cup, this helps your toddler meet this developmental stage. The developmental drinking system starts with the 2oz Tiny Cup (4 months +), followed by the 4oz Mini Cup + Straw (9 months +) and concludes with the 8oz Happy Cup + Straw (2 years +). The tricky transition from a bottle to an open cup is thoughtfully considered in the design for the Tiny Cup by EZPZ. Mini Cup: At 4 ounces, the Mini Cup is developmentally appropriate for toddlers (compared to the Tiny Cup, at 2oz, for infants).

The ezpz Mini Cup + Straw Training System teaches toddlers to drink from an open cup and safely learn to use a straw.Learning to drink from a straw is an important developmental milestone that develops lip rounding and promotes speech development. The ideal product progression is for your child to start their open cup training with the Tiny Cup and, once they master this skill and/or need more ounces at mealtime, they then move to the Mini Cup. They've also made the commitment to reduce use of domestic air freight and using rail instead to get parcels round the country. The larger cup is critical as older toddlers / preschoolers are consuming more liquids during snack + mealtime. I usually fill the Mini cup with 3 ½ oz of water (or milk) at meals and will give them more (if requested) after mealtime.
