The opening is like spicebomb the og one after it dries down it gets different you can smell the leather and the wood notes it is a masucline fregrance not as sweet as spicebomb though. I've been sniffing my arm all eveing to follow the development of BB and it dries down so lovely and elegantly - staying true to its character while it recedes into the background with dignified discretion - like one would imagine a true gentleman making his way out of a woman's boudoir. On my the staying power is great - I think anything with TONKA stays forever on my skin for some reason. I think the association with smelling like rubber also comes with the bottle's resemblance to a tire more than intent to smell of actual rubber, and then confirmation bias from the online fragrance brouhaha going "yup yup yup yup yup yup" in forums.

In terms of wearability, it's a perfect cold weather evening fragrance, but not everyone might like it.
