It must be taken into account that the more beads that are placed on the bracelet, the longer the bracelet must be.
Pass the needle through the strap to the under-side, and work your way back along the circle of beads securing each with small stitches. An adult should iron the fused beads pattern on both sides with the special ironing paper and according to the manufacturer's instructions. Continue wrapping your ribbon around the straps on your flip-flops until they are completely covered. Once your design is filled turn your iron onto the appropriate setting and iron the beads into place, making sure to use a protective sheet on top to keep from ruining your iron.There will be “slack” using a wider ribbon, that will not show up as much or if at all as compared with a smaller-width ribbon. When you use the glittered beads in your normal projects, you don't really notice the actual flecks of glitter once ironed and fused together - unless they are placed right on the edge of your pattern.

Go from side to side and work your way back along the flip flip strap until all your beaded circles feel secure (you’ll create a kind of zig-zag pattern with the cotton on the underside of your strap). Having a set of beads where all the shades already work well together takes some of the guesswork out of combining colors if that is something you're not confident with in crafting.
