It took nearly an entire day to reach refrigeration temperatures, and even then it stopped and maintained temperatures a full 3°F warmer than we'd programmed it to. The back portion of the cooler isn't any colder, yet is separated from the rest of the internal space. We don't love its temperature control and find some of its usability "features" to be more of a nuisance than a help. FASTER COOLING : Intelligent compressor cooling technology , from 77℉(25℃) to 32℉(0℃) only needs 30 minutes.

The fridge's app is not terrible, not great, but I found the app display would freeze up at times (har har) and needed to be unpaired and then re-paired to the fridge. Ice creams on long summer journeys stuck in traffic with ice waiting for drinks when you arrive is a game changer. I kept a blanket on top top the fridge just to give it a little extra insulation to stave off the heat in the truck.

This year we're doing a 1 week trip to Big Sur in California, then another 1 week trip to Grand Canyon, then another 1 week trip to Yosemite, then another 1 week trip to Joshua Tree, then another week in Redwood National Park.I ran the Bluetti off the truck when in transit, but no other charging happened between arrival and departure. Hasn't failed me yet, i want to get 3 years out of it and get my money back from square trade if it fails. I didn't build a water tank into the trailer because of the weight so we have an external food grade barrel that we use to get water once we're settled.
The camper is fully insulated so we can go camping in pretty much any weather condition and we go on longer trips. The Alpicool CF45 is immediately notable for its relatively low cost compared to other compressor model coolers. I bought a Bluetti EB70S to power an Alpicool CF45 fridge (mine is branded as a Euhomy which is the exact same thing) mounted in my truck for camping trips.Every visible piece is some sort of plastic (with the exception of the narrow rubber seal underneath the lid), but a plastic that, compared to other similar models, feels less sturdy and less durable. If you need to rely on serious cooling powers in seriously hot situations, we're not ready to fully trust this cooler, with its very lackluster temperature control. So far so good, run it daily in bedroom for super cold water and beer and has been on about 5-10 off road trips where washboards and bumps tested its ruggedness. Unfortunately, when it comes to reliable temperature control, the Alpicool isn't particularly impressive and is the worst of all the compressor models we tested.
