About this deal

There are used Dutch army Sting rucksacks on the market that are a bit bigger than the Sabre 45 but very similar, rare in green or black, very common in DPM camouflage.

The Mulitcam Munro fetaures a zipped lid pocket, MOLLE PALS strapping on front for additional pouches, 4 compression straps on the sides. I think, if you want the same bag for the odd overnight, the 45s may be a wiser choice - just my opinion. Packages to Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands and BFPO addresses are sent by First Class Royal Mail or International Parcel Force unless otherwise specified. This cedar colour version uses an Infrared (IR) coated fabric for better protection against night vision detection. The Berghaus Munro is a well-tried backpack that is super small and lightweight yet offers a lot of space. The classic 35 litre capacity patrol pack has now been brought right up-to-date with the latest Crye Precision Multicam camouflage fabric. Constructed to military specification, this 35L capacity, hardwearing, durable and abrasion-resistant pack will withstand the rigours of any hike, trek, or travel. There are surely members who can tell you which used military belt or other pouches are long enough that you can sew onto the back of the pouches by hand straps or sleeves to accommodate the compression straps of the Munro. Possibly the all time favourite private purchase daysack, this proven classic has been updated with Multicam Cordura, Multicam strapping and MOLLE PALS webbing added to the front panel.

The Berghaus Munro is ideal for military use or just when you're heading out to the hills and need an extremely strong and durable daysack. All things seem to be pointing towards the Munro as the tried and tested option, but there's a couple of other bags out there that have caught my eye, namely the Cuillin 2 from Scottish Mountain Gear, which looks like a Munro-style bag, with the benefit of being made in Scotland (as far as I can tell? Anyway, I hope I'm not boring you all with the same old same old, but I wonder if anyone had any input?

The Toploader backpack can be easily loaded from the top and has a small pocket for quick access items in the lid flap. A family run UK based tax paying business which has been supplying both the general public and servicemen and women with top quality outdoor gear for over 30 years. The Berghaus Munro has an internal frame that keeps everything in proportion and also has a truly well padded back that will leave you surprised at the level of comfort offered. The material used to make this backpack is the extra tough Ardura 1000D which is a very strong Nylon which makes the Berghaus Munro Rucksack almost bombproof. But in my opinion you should get the Sabre 45 with side pouches or something similar and keep it packed ready to start for hiking and camping with a well selected standard 3 seasons equipment. This latest Bergaus Munro version II is manufactured in tough and super wear resistant Armadura fabric which will cope with any military operation from patrolling to expeditioning.

The lid compartment with the only zipper (YKK) of the backpack, provides you quick access where you can put smaller items like snacks, a small water bottle, chargers etc. Our community has been around for many years and pride ourselves on offering unbiased, critical discussion among people of all different backgrounds. Be aware also that hand luggage requirements on airlines for weight can range from 5kg to unlimited, so best check out those first before travelling. And although I don't own this rucksack I think that I can tell you which 3 season hiking equipment would fit in there, because my own rucksack also has 34 litres capacity.
