About this deal
I don't want to rate this one because I'm clearly an outlier and at the end of the day, this is a love letter-come-book about Noel's beloved dog Keira. It is beautifully illustrated by Laura McKendry and described as a book ‘for animal lovers everywhere, or anyone who needs a little comfort this Christmas.
Tuy nhiên, trên thị trường không ít đơn vị được xem là nhà cái lừa đảo chỉ cố ý xây dựng trong thời gian ngắn, gom đủ tiền là ôm bỏ chạy. Inspiring and healing in equal measure, this beautifully illustrated and deeply heartfelt story of Noel and Keira's journey together teaches us all how to embrace the ups with the downs, the joy and the sorrow, the darkness and the light, that make up a life. When Noel was struggling in life, it was Kiera who he turned to to help him through the difficult times.
The last quarter of the book hit home the most and, coupled with the illustrations, really brought back the loss of my own best friend. I feel it is a great insight into the psychology of men and how they think along with the wonderful relationship between mankind and animals. The dedication to his furry friend that saw him through some dark and light times was absolutely beautiful.
He struggled through life, trying to comprehend what had happened to him but his survival was very much due to his relationship with animals and his magical bond with Kiera. For anyone who has shared their life with a dog, this book perfectly highlights the depths of the feelings and the connection that people can share with their animals. Very nicely written mostly from the view of Kiera the little dog, with conversation from Noel the loved owner.
It is not a self help book but I feel a lot of such books could be let go of once having read this book. Come down the travelators, exit Sainsbury's, turn right and follow the pedestrianised walkway to Crown Walk and turn right - and Coles will be right in front of you. This beautifully illustrated memoir isn’t always the most uplifting of reads and should come with a trigger warning for readers who, like myself, have experienced the total agony of saying goodbye to their dog. to days when he trots around with a bounce in his steps and he could eat everything that is offered, sleep is not so important on these days but they don't happen as much now. even his bowl of goats milk that he's normally so greedy for , went untouched; and he slept most of the day.
