Yes, you can use Nav Cards to send the Alliance or Reavers after your rivals and, yes, you can sometimes hire away disgruntled crew from your rivals, but there's not much reason to interact and pay attention to each other's accomplishments. Tip: You’ll need a pretty decent-sized playing area because the board is big and you have lots of cards and goodies to scoot around. You can indirectly affect things by taking the item they need before they can get to it (my wife ALWAYS looks for Kaylee), you can steal their disgruntled crew, you can make them lose Yolanda/Saffron/Bridget by taking one of the other versions of her, you can move the Alliance and/or Reaver ship to block their path or move those directly onto them. Gamers who enjoy a pick-up and deliver mechanism will certainly find some things they love about this game, and anyone who enjoys a sci-fi theme should have a fun experience as well, so long as they understand there isn’t any direct conflict with the other players.While I was evading and waiting, Mathemancer Alan caught up, snuck in past the Reavers, and won the game before I could. If your wish is to play the game whilst enjoying a nicely representative miniature of your ship avoid this.

In short, Solo games for Firefly Adventures are not only about beating the mission, but about enjoying the story that gets told and getting immersed in that story for a couple of hours. Without going into a LOT of detail I can't really explain my qualms here, I just think the solo game really doesn't flow well, and leaves a lot to be assumed.

While I may not be able to stop you from completing your job, I can sure has heck try and finish mine first. Fans pointed to various issues, including the difficulty involved with building walls and the absence of a kingmaker.

Because where the game shines is in telling stories, with goals other than just earning bucketloads of cash.Being solid with Ammon Duul for examples lets you load passengers at Space Bazaar but there’s no explanation of why you would want to do that, though we assumed the reason is to replace dead passengers.
